Beautifully updated one bedroom condo located just steps away from the mountain. Take the elevator up one floor and ski right down to the Zephyr lift! This light adorned unit features granite counters, newer appliances, nicely updated bathroom, and an incredible curved plasma TV. You can comfortably sleep up to 6 people with a queen sized bed in the bedroom, a Murphy queen bed, and a new sofa sleeper in living room. Relax in front of the fireplace after a day adventuring around Winter Park!

This property uses the Triple Sheet Method where we use two sheets to encase the comforter. This sheet-made duvet cover gets washed between each and every guest to provide an extra clean sleeping experience.

For Winter reservations:
Iron Horse is located on the corridor run that connects the base of Mary Jane to the base of Winter Park.
This corridor run (marked as a green run on the trail map) is about 1 mile long. Base of Mary Jane sits higher (elevation wise) than base of Winter Park.
From Iron Horse you ski down 1/4 mile to base of Winter Park, and to ski home you must go over the Mary Jane saide to catch the corridor run. Iron Horse is located 3/4 mile down the corridor run from Mary Jane.
To get to the base of Mary Jane, you will have to be able to manage a blue trail. (just fyi)
You do also have the option to use the free shuttle offered by Town of Winter Park. Iron Horse Resort is on the “green line

The unit provides two parking passes. Garage parking is for one vehicle on a first come first serve basis. There is a lost pass replacement fee.

For added convenience a full-service ski shop with rental options is located on the property. Washers and dryers are available on the second floor of the D building. Level 5 in the D building provides a room for ski storage and ski-in/ski-out access (green corridor). The free Lift bus also picks up frequently at the main entrance for easy shuttle service to the Village.

There is common ski storage located on the fifth floor of the D building, in the back of building near the doors to the corridor ski run. However, locks for rack are not provided. If you would like to buy a ski lock to secure skis here, you must go to front desk and they are available for $35. Note this specific lock/rack combination does not work for snowboards.

For our fellow mountain bike lovers: we are very sorry, but management does not allow bicycles stored inside condos or on balconies. To prevent mud and chain oil damage to our carpets, as well as handle bar scratches on the walls; we must kindly ask you to not store bikes inside the condo. We are working with the HOA of all our properties to figure out bike storage in the long term as our mountain sports grow in popularity. Thank you for your understanding.

Winter Park Resort is only w miles away and the FREE resort shuttle will drop you off right in the middle of the resort base village which includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities. The swimming pool and gym are 4.7 miles at Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a waterslide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground. The Foundry is next door to the Rec Center with a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar. Safeway grocery store at Fraser is just 6.1 miles away.

Please note if you are arriving by train, there is no facility on-site for luggage storage.

    The hosts were good with communication. We did find the home outdated and not well stocked for the number of guests they aim to accommodate (6-we only had 4). Example- when we arrived there were only towels for 4 people and none to swim. So when we showered after the pool we had to use the same towels we used after the pool to dry off. They did send us more towels the next day. There were also only 2 coffee mugs and no baking dishes- aside from a sheet pan/roast pan. The shower was very outdated and it appears someone put caulking strips over some mold. Just could use a little updating. Also be aware- ski in/ski out is only if you can do a blue to get back. Some people who are not familiar with Winter Park may not realize this.

    No air conditioner in the unit and it was very warm. The 2 fans were of little value. If you’re a hot sleeper I do not recommend that his unit. Also, the smell of mildew in shower is very strong. Otherwise it served its purpose. The beds were comfortable and the water got hot so we were satisfied.

    Property was perfect for a cabin nestled on a Mountain. Everything was ready to go and property owner was super quick to respond. Pull out sofa and Murphy bed gave great options for kids.

    We have stayed at Iron Horse many times and LOVE the location. It is ski in/ski out and Mary Jane is where we spend most of our time so that part is the best! The property itself is old and could use some updating, there are things that are not offered at similar places (like towels for the hot tub), and there is no staff around to ask questions (like...are there towels somewhere?, where is the laundry room? and, there is a restaurant but when is it open because we never seen it open?). The condo itself says it's been updated but it's been a while.

    We had a great time! The place was great for the five of us, it’s a true ski in ski out, very easy totally recommend it A few suggestions would be to update some of the kitchen appliances and tools Also it would nice to replace the pillows and mattress in the living room And lastly having actual pool towels would be helpful

    Great location. It is SISO but *must be able to do a blue run*. If not the free shuttle picks up at the door! The garage was excellent for parking. Balcony and windows had an awesome view. Management was very responsive. Unit was on the end of the hallway so very quiet.
