Cozy 1-bedroom condo with AC, fitness room, WiFi in welcoming Sunny Isles Beach

Property was ok. Old and under construction. This was never revealed and frankly misrepresented. The balcony was under construction and there was tape and paper on the lone bedroom window and the balcony which was off the main living area. Host showed a pic of the view from the window overlooking the bal ony as if everything was just fine.The next item was the check-in which was very clumsy. Fob and garage situation was a joke. There are 3 separate garage structures and if you're not in the correct designated spot, you will be towed with no questions asked. The detailed instructions regarding this very specific arrangement were not disclosed. The fob provided was not working and I only discovered that after finally figuring out I needed to be in a very specific building with the correct space to park in. It was pouring rain to add insult to injury. The shower does not drain properly and soap and dirty water accumulated immediately forcing a workaround for that as well. Additionally there were remnants of the tile grout left in the tub. Finally there was not one item left in the unit (no water, spices, coffee or anything) 4 towels for a 4 day stay and that was it! My biggest gripe was the casual response 2 days after I contacted the host regarding the fob and he never responded to that issue. Once I discovered the fob issue it took me more that 40 minutes11:30P to get back into the building and up to my unit. Nothing works (elevators, doors).C-Grade overall could be better

I liked my experience staying here for the most part, but there were a few issues. The sheets in the bedroom were not clean when I arrived, although the bed was made. Some of the blankets were not clean as well, so I had to pay to wash the bedding myself. In addition, the balcony doors could not be opened at the time that I stayed. It looks like the building is doing facade work, but it’s not clear if that is the reason the balcony is inaccessible. I just wish I knew ahead of time about that issue. Otherwise, my stay was fine.

Wonderful two week stay. Close to beach and dining. The host was available for any help needed.
