Couples Studio 1205, Mt View, Kitchenette, Washer Dryer, Add'l Resort Fees

We just spent 5 nights at this amazing property and wish we could have stayed longer! The location is absolutely incredible, if you can imagine a tropical paradise, this is exactly what it looks like. The surrounding nature is breathtaking. Situated in Princeville, a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of great dining options, stunning golf courses, and, of course, the legendary Nā Pali Coast. There are also gorgeous wild beaches nearby where you can truly enjoy nature in peace - it never feels crowded, making it a truly unique and relaxing getaway. The room looks exactly like in the photos, cozy, welcoming, and with an unbeatable view. We’re now spending the rest of our trip on the South Shore in Lihue, but after experiencing the North Shore, it’s hard to enjoy it here - it just doesn’t compare!

All was great. The dryer didn’t work but everything else was perfect. Super comfy bed and great views.

Hanalei bay resort is beautiful! We loved the pool, beach, snorkeling, tennis and pickle ball all available at the resort! The view from the room was beautiful! Loved having coffee on the lanai looking at the mountains and the rainbows! The room is small but fine for 2 people. Bed was very comfortable and we loved waking up to the gorgeous view. I advised the host that it could use a bit of TLC in the bathroom and on the Lanai… they have chairs and coolers for bogie boards for you to use as well!

Very nice resort, location of unit was excellent and views were pretty despite gray skies and rain the entire time. The unit is small but very functional for 2 adults. The only thing lacking is a good way/place to hang wet clothes, towels, etc.. The restaurants and resort facilities were all very nice. excellent value.

Great view, easy walk to the beach and the bay. If you don't want to walk they have a shuttle.

Such a beautiful place to stay along the north shore of Kauai. The room was great such breathtaking views of the mountains sling Hanalei Bay to wake up to every morning. The resort is just icing on top of a beautiful place. Loved the hot tub/pool area and the convenient cart rides to & from the secluded beach that host amazing snorkeling and views of big wave surfers.

Such an incredible place to stay! This condo has everything you could possibly need and the view was spectacular. The building is also nice and close to the parking lot and restaurants. The washer and dryer was an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again. The next time we come to Kauai you just won’t believe how beautiful the grounds are!

Everything was great!

Great view! We liked walking down to the beach and taking a resort golf cart back. The beach is nice, we saw a few turtles while snorkeling.The room is extremely close to the restaurants in the resort. For us this was a downside since we heard the music from our lanai

Amazing view!

Our stay was incredible! The view from the room was spectacular. And the bed was extremely comfortable. Was also great to have laundry in the room. We did have a few issues with not getting a pickup from the beach when we called, and Wiki pizza closing early due to not enough dough. Otherwise, the stay was amazing and would recommend!

It was a short and easy walk to the pool, bar, restaurant and incredible sunset views. It was a ten minute walk down to the water but always had the option for a golf cart ride which was amazing. The snorkeling by the water was also soooo worth it! Room was so nice and welcoming, and the kitchenettes was nice for a couple easy meals :)

What a gem!!! So many things to love about this place. The unit itself has breathtaking views, a bunch of water/beach gear for use, a private washer and dryer, and a very comfortable bed! The property as a whole is also stunning and meticulously maintained. My husband and I loved the pool, beach access, pickleball and tennis courts, and onsite bar and 2 restaurants. We will be back!!!

The views were everything and exactly as pictured! Just walking the grounds was so refreshing. The Happy Talk Lounge was a highlight and the Wiki Pizza as well; both had amazing open-aired views and good food. The bed was very comfortable and the ac was good and cold. We will definitely be back!

The Hanalei Bay Resort is perfect for those who want more of a classic Hawaiian vacation stay. The beautiful grounds and understated buildings are inviting, but not formal. We stayed in a 1 bedroom studio unit which was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. The best part about it was it’s location which was close to the main lobby, pool and the view of the mountains was amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds were beautiful and had a lot of amenities. The only thing that we were not happy about was the extra fees that the resort charges over and above the owners charge, which stated all fees included.

This was such a beautiful location and was overall a wonderful and relaxing stay! The unit is complete with a washer and dryer, which was great to be able to wash a couple loads before our return trip. The view from our room was INCREDIBLE and it provided a stunning view of the sunset. The unit also provided snorkel gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, floaties, and a cooler that were available for out use. It made beach days super easy.My only complaint is that we did have an issue with the shower knob falling off on the morning of our second to last day there (resulting in us being unable to turn off the shower). I think this was due to the salt water on the island corroding the metal, so it wasn't really anyone's fault. I called the number provided right away and the Hanalei Bay Resort Maintenance came within 10 mins. Unfortunately, the entire knob needed replaced and no one was able to come and do it until the following morning. We had to use the complimentary showers in the Resort's public bathroom, which was a little bit of an inconvenience. That is the only reason for deducting one star. Other than that, we had an incredible stay! I would definitely rent this unit again.

Nice room, plenty of space and enough food prep stuff to prepare some meals, so no need to go out for everything.Good location near resort entry and pool and spa. Nice view from lanai. Also a nice walk to the fairly private beach. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning in the future.

Great location in the complex and beautiful view! 4 stars instead of 5 bc the shower/bath faucet needs to be repaired or replaced. Difficult to turn and falls off. Otherwise great unit.

The unit is close to checkin and parking lot and ice machine. It was clean and it had laundry inside unit with soap... nice touch there. Good view and close to the restaurant . Anywhere else on property would be a long walk. So , great location. It's on second floor facing the bay. Good sunsets.

Me and my husband found this on VRBO and were pleasantly surprised it was apart of a resort! With access to the pool and hot tub. Very nice and cleanly and also has a balcony and beautiful view! Highly recommend to stay here!

Resort was incredible! View was great. Room was okay, coffee pot and mugs need a deep clean & cutting boards need replaced. Other than that it was perfect.

I will share the accounting. The description states there are extra fees at the resort, and lists them. Thats after the $200 cleaning fee and random host extra fee of $31. Ok then it states there is $20/day extra and $25/day extra and GET tax per day. And $50 extra to check in, and Another check in fee of $7., andThen the $500 deposit that wasnt mentioned, i come to find out theres also a $245 charge from the resort with no explanation in it and an additional stream of 14% transient taxes per person per day! I am still battling w VRBO but they blame the host for the deception, then the host i try to contact doesnt respond and then blames the resort. So everyone kind of blaming anf lying but mostly just taking my money with no disclosure and in one case absolutely no explanation for $245.All total, i my CC was billed just under $1800 for 3 days of stay, and im just hoping to get ny $500 deposit back. This ad and this disclosure was and is atrocious. And at the same time i enjoyed the resort stay but would NEVER pay $1300 for 3 nights at a 3star resort! are u kidding me? Im going to keep fighting this but just want people to know EVEN w the host disclosure in the ad, THERE WILL STILL BE HUNDREDS MORE DOLLARS TAKENWhew ok so after reading the ad for $135/day stay for 3 nights
