Corpus Christi Resort Condo - Walk to Beach!

Wonderful!

Pros: property was well equipped with items. Hair dryer and straightener in the bathroom, beach toys, soft side cooler, chairs, umbrella, women’s hats in the outside closet. Baking items in the kitchen. Herbs, and laundry detergent in the laundry room. Rollaway single bed with extra bedding and kid items in the closet Check in and directions/rules we’re easy to follow. Location of the unit to the pool and gym were right next door The unit provides you with a beach pass so you can drive on the beach Cons: the photos definitely fool you with how old this property is. They have redone this unit but it still shows it’s age. The balcony is rotting and leaning. The unit is very dirty. I believe the only cleaning they do is the ones you’re required to clean when you exit the property. There was layers of dust on the blinds, windowsills, furniture, picture frames, ceiling fans. There was mold growing on the vent in the bathroom. The walls are very thin and you can hear every car that passes by when you’re trying to sleep bc the bedroom faces the road. You can also hear every footstep above you. The toilet constantly runs And while they told me they did not use air fresheners there was a strong smelling one plugged into the bathroom which caused breathing problems for my husband. Neutral: there is quite a few restaurants on the island, gas stations on the corner, and a grocery store that has surprisingly a lot of allergy friendly food. They are not walkable

Everything from easy check-in, communication with property owner making sure our stay was enjoyable to leaving was great! Definitely will be staying again!

The place is perfect! Small, cozy, colorful and just a great place for a getaway! They made sure we had everything we need such a beach supplies, laundry plates cyps etc. Save your money on gas and just walk everywhere its the perfect area.

Very cozy. Property owners very focused on making you feel welcomed! Only issue was ac. We like it very cool and not sure how the nest works. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing stay!!

The condo was exactly described as is and perfect for a small family. Host was extremely accommodating and quick on responses. Easy access to Whitecap Beach. The hot tub and swimming pool on the property was clean and welcoming after a day at the beach.

Falsely advertised. The lights in the living room don’t work. The bathroom counter is not as big as the photo shows for this listing. Bed was alright. They didn’t specify if they had Keurig or a regular coffee maker. Experience was okay, but this listing was and could very well be falsely advertised. I wouldn’t give it a 9/10, more like 7.5/10

We enjoyed staying at the condo, though it was not as child friendly as we hoped. We appreciated the early check in and the fact that it was well stocked with everything we needed. The condo was dirty though with dust on the walls and all the fixtures. The floor mats were filthy and stained. The washroom door was broken and completely fell off the hinges which posed a hazard for our 8 month old. The shower head leaked when we tried to run baths for the kids. On a positive note, the manager was friendly, early check in was a bonus, the amenities were great. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The location was perfect and very close to the beach. The pack and play and high chair were clean and very helpful to us as well. Overall, we were content with our stay.

From the outside the place looks good but the inside smelled musty or moldy, the fridge is so inconveniencly in the wrong set up and very awkward, and busted our knees and shins on the coffee table (brutal) but all in all did its job on giving us a place to stay after going to the beach

I was so happy to find such a reasonably priced stay this close to the beach—and it exceeded all my expectations! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. It’s within walking distance to the beach, but the real bonus is being able to drive right onto the sand and park next to your spot—so convenient for unloading gear. 10/10 recommend, and I’d definitely stay here again!

We just stayed for 3 nights and it was the most perfect vacation spot! So cute and right next to the beach everything was so convenient we will be back next year! Communication was clear, all the amenities you need! Absolutely loved it!

When I arrived the room was a mess, had not been cleaned. Ended up staying somewhere else

Close to beach- did lots of fishing, beach walks and used the nice hot tub.

Great location for quick beach access and numerous recreational and wildlife venues. Property had everything we needed and more. Thank you we will be back soon

We were satisfied w the condo. It was as shown in listing. Bed was comfortable. Location was great. The pool and hot tub were closed for resurfacing and we were not informed of this as a clearly scheduled issue. We would not have stayed there if we had known. Property manager did not reply.

We stayed here for a little 30th anniversary trip. The location of the property was nice and close to the clubhouse/pool. The unit is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator and a steep staircase which I didn’t realize, but that’s on me. The unit had everything we needed, but is in need of repairs and a deep cleaning which I spoke to the property manager about, There was quite a bit of black mold in the bathroom. The vents were covered in black mold. The bathroom sink had a huge hole in it. The window ledges were covered with dead bugs and dust and all of the screens for the windows were either torn or missing. The unit also smelled very musty. Overall it was a decent stay. We also enjoyed the fact that there was a smart tv that we could stream our apps on.

The condo was in a great location. Check in was easy. The size and lay out of the condo was perfect for two people. The condo needs a deep cleaning and some updates. The balcony did not look like it would be to safe to use. One of the bath towels had long black hair on it and the cupboard behind the bathroom door had hair stuck to the top of it. The bathroom sink needs to be replace and a good overall dusting of the entire condo is needed.

The condo is good especially for the price

Condo has everything you would need. And then some.

It was old, run down and needed updates. The doors, sink, appliances etc all need replacement or repairs.

This cheerful little jewel of a one-bedroom had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal. It's a few blocks from the beach and surrounded by water and open grassland, so you really feel like you're at the beach, yet is close to restaurants and a grocery store and not overly far to parks, beaches and attractions. It was perfect. I'd stay here again.

This was our third stay at Beach Club. We only live about an hour away so this is the perfect location for a mini beach vacation. The location couldn’t be better! Although this is an older complex,it has been well maintained. The unit had everything we needed as far as dishes, linens, cleaning supplies, etc. we
