Guest Access:

The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. The indoor, heated salt water pool and hot tub can be accessed via a Pool Code on the North side of the Office building.



This is a 3rd floor unit, there are 28 steps required to access the unit.

Other Things to Note:

This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility. The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.

D Sands Rentals manages all 63 privately owned beachfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but we’re available on-site if you need anything.

    Nice stay but some essentials could use improvement. Very tricky door lock to the balcony. Would not open the second day. The view when you can sit out there is amazing.There is a queen murphy bed in the middle of the living room that cannot be closed. Very inconvenient.

    The view was outstanding. Great to watch beach activities including kite flying. Could open balcony door and hear the ocean and let in the fresh air. Easy access to walk down to the beach. With door and window closed the unit was quiet. The unit was basic no frills. Not sure what was going on with the Murphy bed because we didn’t use but it was not fully closed. The carpet had a large stain that housekeeping cleaned at our request.

    Had a nice stay in room 313 (3rd floor corner unit). The entire property is very outdated and needs a good power wash, including the balcony where there’s seagull and pigeon poo. There’s no door mats so I can only imagine that poo gets tracked into the room. As for the room itself, it has all the basics needed but there can be room for improvement. To me, it feels like a hotel rather than a condo. All the furniture looks old and to be from the original motel before they turned into condos. It has an early 90s style. There’s no coffee table (which would be very nice to have), the kitchen table seats are so uncomfortable and seriously outdated. Have I emphasized enough how outdated this place is? Also, there are no clocks or clock radios in the bedroom or in the living room. The bed was very nice and comfortable and I slept very well, despite the small half size pillows.There was only one wine glass and 3 forks. Someone might need to do some restocking. For a room that can accommodate 4-6ppl, 3 forks and 1 wine glass is not enough. There’s no measuring cups or your basic kitchen essentials. It would be nice to have a drawer of pens, pencils, note paper, scissors, etc. There was none of that.And one major flaw with the entire DSands, there’s no place to wash off your sandy feet!!!

    We have always loved the D River beach and this location was perfect to enjoy the beach and views of the sunset. We wish we could have stayed longer.

    Very nice location with awesome ocean views. While it does have a full kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook with as far as pans and utensils, be sure to bring your own seasonings, oils, etc. unlike a lot of places I’ve stayed, there was none of those. Overall still a great experience!
