Description

1st floor recently renovated room with 1 king bed located on the end of the building closest to the beach. The Continental Condominiums offer our guests 27 cozy individually owned condos that are managed as vacation rentals available for short as well as off-season monthly stays. Located on Sunset Beach and just across the street from the Atlantic Ocean allows for a short walk to the fishing pier, and the area's finest beach strand. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee makerin the room. The bathroom includes a shower. The outdoor pool is open between mid-April and late September depending on weather. There is a local market across the street and other shops all within a block. Rental bikes are available across the street. A laundry facility is available on premises as well as grills for your convenience. Non-smoking. Dog Friendly Condo. 1 dog max with $100.00 Non-Refundable Pet Fee.
Parking is limited - 1 parking pass provided per unit. No exceptions!
Golf carts and boat trailers are not permitted at the Continental Motel.

This is an old motel. It wasn’t bad, but it just felt like we were staying in an old motel. The room was dark and impersonal (one small window and cinder block walls). Also the AC unit was quite noisy, which made it hard to sleep. Overall, it wasn’t bad - especially for the price - but not sure whether we would book again. On the plus side, it was clean, easy to check in/out, and the location is really good on the island.

Neat, clean and attractive room. Located within a very short walk to the beach!! The dunes are half a block. Other residents were all very pleasant fellow dog owners.

So close to the beach. As advertised. However the fan and overhead lights did not work but they said they would come fix them right away. Cinder block walls made me feel like I was at camp-was clean though

This spot was perfect for my friend and I on our girls trip. Small, simple, easy access to the beach and coffee shop, we loved this little getaway. It’s so nice to be able to walk to the pier and beach straight from the room!

I rented this for my in-laws for two nights. The bed was comfy, the place was sweet and simple. They said it was so quiet and they were not distended at all by any neighbors. I would have given this quaint hotel a 5 star rating in cleanliness, except on the second morning my in-laws woke up with a cockroach IN THEIR BED! Aside from that, the stay was lovely!

Location was prime. Beach was fantastic and weather cooperated. Accommodations were basic but great for us. I love that the fridge was large enough for actual food. Basic necessities for weekends or longer. Would stay again
