This condo was perfect for our stay in Avon, but the beds were absolutely horrible! The king in the master and the queen in the second bedroom were hard as rocks. Some sort of topper would greatly aid, however may not help completely. Beds were unsleepable, would not rent again unless beds were changed.
Listing is as advertised, very comfortable stay. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, and I wish I could stay here for all my ski trips. Hot tub was nice after a day on the slopes, and the shuttle service to Beaver Creek was convenient.
PROS management very responsive Great location Well stocked and clean kitchen Many things to do within walking distance Great hiking books provided Many kids toys and books provided Well stocked with soaps, lotions, etc. CONS 3 bath towels provided Old and uncomfortable king and queen mattresses (the queen mattress is VERY uncomfortable for an adult) Unclean king mattress cover had a large yellow pee stain and two brown stains. Very gross. Master bedroom gets very hot during the summer nights and you can’t open the window during the night due to it being a window that can be easily accessed from the outside.
This was the perfect location with pool access and a lake and playground out the door. The only downfall for us was that the dryer was broken and had a note that It would be fixed on Monday. We checked in on a Friday and out on Wednesday and it was never fixed. This is an inconvenience when you book accordingly. Other than that this place was great and right in the middle of all the places we wanted to visit.
We were so impressed! The unit is so clean and beautiful and cozy- the balcony looks over the pool, and out the other side is a free park on a swimming lake. There are stores/services minutes away- one favorite was Rocky Mountain Taco food truck! But the most impressive thing- every single detail- from sponges to laundry detergent to extra mugs to every possible kitchen utensil and coffee filters and a few spices and even books games and toys- provided. We have stayed in many similar units all over the country- but have never experienced this amount of amenities. Just wow! Can't recommend it enough! Thank you!
This is our second time staying in this specific condo! We had everything we needed for our kiddos and it was very clean, plus well stocked! Thanks for another great stay
My only, very minor complaint is that all bath towels, in both bathrooms had been folded and put away/hung for use while still wet. Not a big deal but unpleasant when you realize all the towels are wet (and cold) when you get out of the shower. Should be easy fix with cleaning staff. Everything else with our stay was perfect and as expected. Location is very convenient and close to everything. Would definitely recommend this property.
I enjoyed walking out the door and onto the lake trails for a walk. It was beautiful. It was very easy to drop off my boys to ski at both Beaver Creek and Vail - minutes to both. Outdoor lot parking was easy to find open spots and they have elevators in addition to many stairways to access condo (level 2). There are luggage trollies to unload and load the car with. We didn't make use of it, but there is a heated pool/hot tub area outside. Condo is well stocked. The living room/dining is a great large area for the group to congregate and play board games. Good lighting. Both baths have great showers. Beds are all true to size. Washer and dryer worked great. We cooked all our meals; kitchen is well stocked with pots and dishes.
This is a very nice, updated condo. The kitchen was very well stocked and had all of the dishes, pans, and utensils we needed and more. The kitchen breakfast bar and dining room table provided ample room for meals, etc. We appreciated the gas fireplace after returning from a day on the slopes as well as bathroom vent heaters - nice and cozy. We also enjoyed the games that are provided in the coffee table drawer, particular the Vail Monopoly. We made use of the washer and dryer and found them to work nicely. The ample coat hooks and boot trays in the entry way also were perfect for hanging and storing all of our ski/snow gear. We made regular use of the clubhouse hot tubs, and found them nice and warm, but perhaps not as hot as expected. With that said, we never felt cold while in them and did spend almost 90 minutes soaking one evening. Two things kept me from rating the property as 5*s. The beds were very firm, and the master King bed was incredibly high, by far the highest bed I've ever seen. With that said, I did sleep well while staying here. The other negative, the walls seem somewhat thin and/or we had noisy neighbors during our stay. We couldn't necessarily make out specific words, but could clearly tell when people were conversing, watching TV, etc.
This property was perfect for a quick ski weekend. Close to both Vail and Beaver Creek and adequately appointed with all necessities for cooking and cleaning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again.
We are a family of 6 and we had plenty of room, the condo looked brand new inside and had plenty of space. It was a great location and easy access to skiing. I would highly recommend
I intentionally went to a place in Avon that utilized a service to oversee the rental. Even though I paid a cleaning fee, I was told to strip the beds, clean all dishes AND put them back on the shelves. I also had to take all the trash to another building in order to throw it away. I have no problem with putting all the towels in one place. When we took the sheets off the beds, we found that the mattress covers were stained. I won’t use another rental in Avon that uses an outside company. I go yearly to Avon as my son lives there.
This place had everything we needed on the inside. The look from the outside, however, leaves a lot to be desired. We were worried when we pulled up do to the dingy “motel” look of the place. Once you get in, however, it’s a very nice and beautiful condo. Everything was great. Just don’t judge a book by its cover.
