Compass Pointe Condominium - Steps to downtown, close to Lake Michigan

Close to downtown. The amenities were great and we had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean and comfortable.

This was an adorable condo with a great location. We had 5 women stayed in the winter so didn’t use the beach stuff but we were able to walk around town and explore the city.

We only ended up staying 1 night because of a bad snow storm coming - but the home was very clean, cute, and the space was perfect for what we needed. It's also in a great location! We'll definitely keep it in mind for our home visits in the future.

The condo was very well equipped with all the essentials. And it was so clean. We had a very comfortable stay.

My husband and I loved everything about the condo. Extremely clean, everything you possibly needed for cooking, and location was fabulous. We will definitely consider it again next Fall!

My husband and I stayed at Compass Pointe for four days/three nights and enjoyed it.We were out and about a lot, but enjoyed all the space and conveniences the condominium had. It was clean, had everything you would need in the kitchen and laundry room.We had a great time exploring the coastline of Michigan and enjoyed coming back to the condo when done with our adventures.

This condo is beautiful. We will definitely look into booking this again when my husband can move around easier!

PROS: Very clean and spacious. Well appointed with pretty much anything needed. Bed was comfortable and location to town was great! A lot of thought went into the amenities which made our stay comfortable and carefree. CONS: The doorway to the upper balcony did not lock and there was no dowel to put in the track. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony at the beginning of our trip, however, the last day we were driven inside because the guest next to us was loud and a chain smoker. We could actually smell cigarette smoke inside our unit, even though the door was shut, coming from the smoker next door. I would also consider a grab bar in the shower for safety. We turned on the air conditioner because the upper level gets pretty hot and there is no screen on the doorwall to let in fresh air. When the air conditioner is on, the bedroom level is freezing so we had to remember to turn off the air well before we went to bed. Overall, a very nice place with the exception of the above mentioned issues.

Wonderful experience! Property as advertised. Beautiful property and very clean. You can see the harbor from the balcony and it's a short walk to everything! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I highly recommend!

It was a shame there weren’t upmarket restaurants downtown. Parking was great and appreciated the laundry facilities

A wonderful place to stay! The condo was well-appointed, and we were able to see the musical fountain from the deck. The kids had fun playing with the board games (we kept careful track of the pieces) and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you!

Great location! Close to shopping restaurants and the water. We loved watching the fountain from the living room on nights we did take the short walk across the street for front seat view. The condo was just as listed and pictured. Well stocked and bonus beach gear so we didn't have to pack ours. Only suggestion would have been to communicated construction that was going on. We were woken up at 7:30 am with the crew right outside the window. Walls shaking like an earthquake from the front loader going up and down the street behind. Just no sleeping in on this trip.

Property is located in great location right next to downtown Grand Haven. Easy access to restaurants, boardwalk, pier, etc. Property owners were very responsive to communication and very easy to work with. Would easily recommend this property to others.

Our family had a great weekend, location was perfect for our family! The kids loved playing in the lower level and the large couch in the living room was perfect for lounging after a long hot day at the beach!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and the location is perfect. We could walk to all the restaurants and shops! Highly recommend if you’re making a trip to Grand Haven.

Our family was looking for a place to just hunker down and spend some time doing the things we love. This spot was exactly as described and let us do that well. There was plenty of space for the four of us to comfortably do things together... movies/video games on the couch, board games at the dining table... or spread out and enjoy some alone time. The full kitchen was well supplied and allowed us to make yummy food and snacks when we wanted. While the close proximity to a variety of restaurants allowed us to indulge in delicious dash-delivered take out. Overall, this property was just a wonderful place to get away to.

We had a great time and were very comfortable. Perfect for a family or friends getaway, summer or winter!

This condo was super cute, clean and very convenient for a downtown stay in Grand Haven. While we came prepared for a vrbo stay, I have to say that many amenities were supplied. If I had any complaint (which isn’t really a complaint), I would say that you must be able to manage stairs to stay here. You have to lug luggage up a couple sets of stairs to entry level and then more stairs for groceries. If that doesn’t deter you, this is a nice quiet place to stay.

Great location! Walking distance to the beach and all the downtown shops. It is a split level condo with 3 levels, the bedrooms being on the main floor. Cozy lake decor and all the creature comforts you require. Sue was a very attentive host. We would gladly return to this place!

The condo is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The living area on the top level is spacious, offering plenty of room for our party of 4 adults. It's perfectly located with a short walk to downtown shopping, restaurants, the beach, musical fountain and the boardwalk. As for restaurants, I'd recommend The Paisley Pig, Morning Star Cafe, The Toasted Pickle and JW's Food & Spirits. It was only a 9 minute drive to the Rosy Mound Natural Area for a wonderful hike. I would stay here again when visiting Grand Haven.

Great location and very nice property

My family, consisting of me, my husband, my mother and my daughter, really enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect for fitting our needs. We had plenty of space, fresh linens and cooking utensils. We were very close to all the shops downtown and close to the public beach. The condo had easy access and even had a few items we could use to take to the beach. Rules and regulations were clear and easy to follow. We had a great stay and would consider staying again.

The place worked well for our family with young kids, but would also be good for older (or no) kids. Stairs posed a small problem for our 1 year old, but the hosts provided baby gates which mitigated the problem. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was beautiful and met our needs well. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. It was nice to have 3 levels to spread out. Our one recommendation would be for exterior lighting in the area where all the condo front doors are located. It's very dark at night coming back from the musical fountain and it was disconcerning to walk through an extremely dark walkway to find the front door. Other than that, we loved it and would highly recommend!
