Comfortable Dog-Friendly Condo with Pool - Two Blocks to the Beach

Overall, a great stay! A huge sticker burr problem on all the lawns make for an area that can be improved.

Very clean and comfortable. Good location, close to the beach. Nice pool and pond area. The only downside was the bed. The mattress was in poor condition and uncomfortable. Otherwise, we loved it!

I would give the condos we stayed at a 3.5 star rating. They are in need of repairs on the outside and inside is pretty nice but also could use some repairs, around the front door, bedroom door and window sills. There is a slope in the flooring It’s like things were not leve. The condo was very clean and the bed was the bathroom was also very clean. It was nice to have a washer and dryer that worked great in the unit. The pool was also very clean the whole time we were there. The only other minor issue was that I paid for late checkout and had both the cleaning ladies come at 10 and then the property manager at 12 wondering why we hadn’t checked out yet. They were both very friendly and understanding once they realized that we had paid for the extra time.

The condo was clean. The location was great and very close to the beach. The one complaint that we had was there wasn't much cooking gear, especially pots or pans. Several of the pots or pans they did have were rusted and unusable.

Positives: location and lowish price Negatives: many things in the condo are broken, clogged, or dirty and need replaced. It wasn’t unbearable- but when there’s notes threatening to charge tenants more for not taking trash out you’d think they would put a little more effort into keeping the place up to date and have routine maintenance done.

We booked a stay for July 4-7th. We expected it to be packed and busy but did not expect to have such a negative vacation experience. The rental has the most inconvenient locking system. They need to make it clear to renters prior to the stay. Not what you want to deal with after a long drive and three flights of stairs. My daughters were very excited to spend the first night at the pool after a long day of traveling. The pool and fitness center key was not working, we had to wait for someone to let us in. The pool was dirty and cloudy and looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. We ended up getting in the jacuzzi, which looked clean. However, when we got back to the room we realized my husband and daughter’s swimwear was bleached and ruined due to all the chlorine in the water. Needless to say we did not get back in. My husband and I were looking forward to using the fitness center, however we were not able to access it because the key did not works we ended up getting it replaced the evening before we left, after multiple calls to vacasa. We booked for 3 nights, the AC went out over night on the second night. It turns out the compressor needed to be replaced and they were not going to be able to do it during our stay. Vacasa offered to move us to another room for the last night but also gave us the option to stay and receive a refund. We chose to stay as packing and moving would have taken up precious time and plans for our last night. We endured interior temperatures of 89 and a little above 90. A week after our stay I had to follow up because I still had not received the refund promised. I made a call and they they were going to process the refund. A week later I’m calling again because they shorted me over 100 dollars. I am currently waiting on a resolution. Nightmare vacation-do not book this place.

Clean, close to beach, nice pool area. My only negatives is that the toilet flushed very slow to where I wasn’t sure if it was going to flush. And the tub drain was clogged so there was always water in it when you showered. Other than that everything was good and great location!

Great location. Very clean

My family of 4 had plenty of room, and found the unit to be clean. We did encounter a few issues which included having trouble with the entry door lock, the shower knobs, the kitchen sink dripped, and there was an issue with the dryer. The location was great, and the pool, hot tub, and gym were very nice. None of the issues we encountered would keep us from staying here again.

This property was super clean, in perfect size for a couple to spend a few days down at the beach! Everything was close by food or groceries, in corpus was a short 20 minute drive. I could've booked a hotel for a night, but it would've cost me just as much as this room, almost not nearly as nice of the state.

Suggestions for improvement. 1. Front door lock is a mjor undertaking, a real hassle. 2. When you send the checkout notice please include the lockbox code. 3. Please put a smaller dresser in the bedroom for more comfortable moving about. 4. There's no way to keep the windows open.Thank you for all the tiwels, comfy bed and coixh. The place was very clean. It needs a lot of maintence. The shower head needed to be replaced while we were there. The tv electronics had a loud annoying buzz. The kitchen sink faucet needs work.

My bf and I took this trip to just kind of get away from reality for a bit, he wanted to fish and I wanted to swim. Everything was perfect, close walk to the beach. My dog didn’t like the sticker grass as much but we made it work. It also was a bit disappointing that our key card wouldn’t work for the pool and that was a main reason for staying somewhere that had a pool. We were able to swim but only for a day or so, b/c the gate was messed up and it opened on its own, otherwise we had no access to the amenities. I would stay again but definitely make sure we have the access to everything

Great condo that has everything you need for a stay at the beach. The location is great because it is a short walk or drive to the beach. The condo has a washer and dryer to keep things clean. The overall space is very clean and taken care of. The only two downsides were that the pool key did not work and the shower head makes a whining noise when running. Otherwise, great price and value for a beach stay!

Great location, some areas updated in the condo. Difficult to locate as you are only given room number and parking spot number. Building number would be helpful. Also, no access to pool, clubhouse area or area to wash beach items daily. Pool key did not work…called everyday we were there 4 nights/5 days and issue was never resolved. The kids could not swim or adults unwind in the hot tub. Disappointing in the lack of communication and eagerness to resolve the problem.

Very clean and close to the beach. Reasonably priced. Overall peaceful. Best advice for people 65+....book a 1st floor room. Stairs were hard on us.

Loved my time spent at this cute place with a quick walk to the beach!! Thank you for a wonderful place to start my summer off right!!
