Stayed Dec 31, 1969We couldn't have been happier with our one month stay in this lovely condominium. It was a truly spacious unit, and it was a joy to live in. The condo came well stocked with all the essential items a person needs when they first arrive in town. The bed was firm yet comfortable. The building itself was well maintained, and the residents and staff at Stay San Diego were extremely friendly, which made us feel at home. The gym was first class, and we also enjoyed playing pool in the billiards room. Being located so close to Little Italy was the icing on the cake. It was a fun place to be because there were lots of great restaurants close by, and a Saturday great market took place only one block down the street. We didn't need a car because the busses, trolley and trains were conveniently located within walking distance. Most days we didn't need to use them because we could walk just about anywhere in town. It took us less than twelve minutes to walk to Ralph's Super Market to get our groceries. The only negative thing about the condo was the view from the living room and bedroom window. It was of a concrete bridge where homeless people would sometimes camp under it for a couple of nights, and then they would leave their litter behind. This, however, wouldn't stop us from staying in this condo again. We had a ten out of ten experience staying in San Diego.
