Exceeded expectations. Super cute place. Well stocked with. Very spacious and conveniently located.
The Brooklyn Arts District has a ways to go in things to do, but it's an easy walk to everything that downtown Wilmington offers. It's easy to get to from nearby Hwy 74/76. There's still street parking close by during most times, although I expect those days are numbered as the neighborhood rapidly gentrifies. Our accommodation was perfect for two couples. The mundane rear door entrance and window views won't impress, but interior aesthetics, floor plan, furnishings, owner extras, and cleanliness are all very good. Kitchen is well equipped with working appliances and even spices in the cupboard. The owner is excellent in responsive communication and was helpful in answering our questions about the property and the area. We absolutely recommend this property as a quieter, less costly alternative to historic downtown lodging.
We had a great stay in Wilmington. The location was perfect for exploring the riverfront and beaches. We were in town for a wedding but scheduled a few extra days. The condo had plenty of space for the 4 of us (ages 32, 32, 64, 68) and all the comforts of home. We stay at resorts and VRBOs quite a bit and we were very pleased with how well appointed this one was. The parking was along the street and we had to park around the corner or across the street a couple of time, but usually there was a spot out front. It was an easy walk to breweries and restaurants on the riverfront. It is also about 10 min. From the airport so that was a plus for us. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in Wilmington.
Cozy place. Easy to get to. Perfect for a couple or a small family. Convenient to almost everything. Nice place to relax.
We loved everything about this place. It was even better than the pictures. We travel to Wilmington frequently, this will be our new spot. We'll be back!
We absolutely love the property! There was an amazing coffee shop practically right across the road. It is a little bit of a walk to the downtown shopping, but definitely manageable and the property itself was amazing and clean and had a little details that I wouldn’t even think to remember! The piece of pottery at the end was also a lovely souvenir!
We loved the location of the property. It was within walking distance of the River Walk, downtown and the historic district. The pottery, made by the owner, was a lovely touch. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Was close to everything, very nice place. Just a suggestion, invest in a iron & iron board. Would stay here again.
Communication with the owner was easy-peasy. The unit is wonderful and has everything you need. Walking distance. Parking was street but not difficult to find. Would stay again without hesitation. Like the pottery all throughout.
My granddaughter, daughter and myself traveled to Wilmington NC for a girls getaway. The rental we chose was perfect. We were downtown close to the boardwalk so we walked everywhere. The rental was setup so perfect and was so comfortable….. just like home! Even though we did not cook, the kitchen had everything you would need. The beds were so comfortable. I am very picky about where I stay and this rental was very nice and clean. I highly recommend this Wilmington condo and look forward to renting it again. Sincerely Teresa Smith
We loved being in the art district. It was close to a lot of places. The owners were very accommodating and let us check in early and check out later due to our flight. We loved the pottery throughout the place and allowing guests to take a piece with you! I would definitely recommend!
Home is beautiful. We had a wonderful time. The location is great. It's so close to everything downtown. Also all of the handmade pottery in the home was stunning. Would definitely come again.
We had a perfectly enjoyable four-day weekend at the Brooklyn Arts District condo. Super fashionable area, we found a number of great places: Savorez Restaurant, the Throwback Bakery, the Brooklyn Cafe and the Kitchen Sink (for sandwiches). Condo was well-provisioned and close to the great Wilmington downtown.
We came to visit with some friends for the weekend and this place did not disappoint! Everything was extremely clean and the location could not be beat, especially with the price. Right by some cool little bars and within walking distance to shops and restaurants which was perfect. Would definitely come back here if we were in the area again!
The condo in the Brooklyn Arts District was great. Very clean, comfortable and well-equipped kitchen. Cute coffee shop (Brooklyn Cafe) right across the street (open 7 days a week), a great place for lunch (Kitchen Sink) also across the street, a bar right across the street, great burger joint, several restaurants, and 2 microbreweries within a couple of blocks. The location was extremely convenient (easy walking) for attending a concert at Live Oak Pavilion and watching the NC Azalea Parade. Easy walk to downtown with its many restaurants, bars, historic houses, etc. Communication with the owners was fantastic. I hate to say this because I don't want to increase the competition to stay here in the future...but I highly recommend this condo if you're ever visiting Wilmington.
