Chic Condo in Downtown Raleigh

In town for a wedding. This location was perfect, a mile from each event. Very quiet neighborhood. Would like to suggest better frying pans as one was very small, the other more like a wok. Hard to cook breakfast. Very comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend!

Loved the neighborhood and all the businesses within walking distance. Neighborhood has so many cute homes to walk by. Price we paid was very reasonable for the location, size and amenities. Owner was very responsive to communications. Downside of stay: we parked on the street as advised, but unfortunately it is a direct throughfare from the restaurants/bars and our rental car's side mirror was hit/broken by someone in the middle of the night and they didn't leave a note. Iron worked but falling apart and closets untidy. I agree with other reviewers that the apartment is due for overall freshening up and a deep clean in the bathroom. Also that the humidity issue has left the home smelling heavily like mold which did seep into our belongings temporarily.

Overall, we had a great stay at this property! It was very well stocked with everything we could need, and so convenient to walk to from the Person Street area. It was easy to remove a few decor items to make it safe for a baby to play around while attended. I suggest that the host add some blackout curtains to the front room because it was extremely bright from the street lamp at night (picture taken at midnight attached) and hard to sleep. Otherwise, no complaints!

Excellent, excellent location! Everyone jept tellimg us how lucky we were to be staying in such a fantastic neighborhood. Quiet, respectful, welcoming and inclusive historic neighborhood. We were close to many restaurants and were within distance to ride electric scooters to other areas. We did experience an issue on our last night with the AC. The property managers were responsive and worked towards fixing the issue. The bathroom could use a deep clean and some new paint, otherwise the property was great.

We came to Raleigh for my daughter’s lacrosse tournament and extended a day to go to the Duke Lemur Center. The location was great. Walking distance in a quiet neighborhood to several restaurants and a short drive to downtown and to our events. If she does that tournament next year, i will try to book it again.

Great location in classic Oakwood neighborhood. Unit is older (as is most of the neighborhood) and could benefit from updating- especially the bathroom & shower Towels, linens etc were clean and adequate but are due for replacement Host was responsive when contacted with questions & requests

Loved the neighborhood and walk-ability of area. Kitchen could use some additional cookware, including larger bowls. Bedrooms could use small dressers and mirrors. Overall layout was great. Biggest complaint was the AC and humidity inside the home. Not sure how to fix it, but I think the AC could use an upgrade. Would consider staying again, for sure, but maybe in the cooler months!

I made a day trip to Raleigh. I stayed at this location for one night. Very clean, quite and nice. A short walk to downtown.
