Charming 2BD/2BA near Rittenhouse sq

The property was located in a good spot for our needs as I had family living nearby. This property really had the bare minimum of amenities.

Clean room and great location

The good:- location is amazing. Dozens of great restaurants within just a block or two.- nice to have 2 separate bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, in addition to a living room with couches- relatively well stocked with utensils, random items- price is good for the location and a 2br/2ba in the areaThe not so good:- Chestnut street is a very busy one lane road that gets choked with traffic. LOTS of honking at all hours of the day and night. It feels like there is very little sound proofing, so bring earplugs - especially if you're in the smaller street-facing bedroom- as others have said, the apartment was not well cleaned when I arrived. Thankfully I'm not too picky, but there were noticeable food crumbs all over the coffee table, and more on the floor- shower in the rear bedroom was very odd - tattered sheet of plastic that looked very DIY- the bed cover was in the rear bedroom was clearly for a bed one size smaller (full instead of queen, I think). It barely covered the top of the mattress and popped off within minutes of going to bed. Be ready to sleep directly on the mattress in that room.- microwave is falling apartSo overall, a good place to stay if you're not too picky, but wish they took a little better care of the place - it would go a long way.

Great location.

I would not recommend staying at this apartment. Upon arrival. The entryway needs some cleaning carpet was dirty walking up to the unit. Inside the unit, it was not clean very well. Kitchen counters were sticky. Remote control was covered in something and you didn’t even wanna pick it up. The kitchen cabinets were completely empty. There was no pot holders. Tea towels, utensils really of any kind. There was no stock of paper towels or tissues. The coffee bar needed to be refilled and stocked, the refrigerator was all covered in some kind of something. The bathrooms were cleaned and fairly updated the beds and their linens were disgusting. Pillows were very uncomfortable as well as mattresses. The bath towels were we’re shabby and need it to be replaced my group and I had to go out and buy cleaning products to wipe everything down from door knobs to handles to kitchen counters to the remote itself. Overall, very dissatisfied. Due to the condition and cleanliness of the place we actually vacated early. There was no communication binder or information log from the owner itself as far as how to check out, etc. however, I did reach out and did receive communication in a timely response. The place itself though does have good potential it needs to be taken care of much better.

This Airbnb was in a great location and served as a place to sleep and keep our stuff. Otherwise, it did not feel clean- stain on the sheets, hair in the bathtub. When we arrived, the lock box was set to the code already, which felt quite unsafe. The property manager had taken the listing off so we were unable to view amenities. I would not recommend staying at this Airbnb.

It was great location. Nice apartment comfortable. We were touring colleges with our daughter. Great for us. It is a walk up so those with health issues may have trouble. Would recommend
