We absolutely loved the location just steps from the beach. The apartment is as described and we were informed multiple times that parking was not included. We will likely stay again!

Kitchen had everything you needed.Unit was clean.No a/c you don’t really need it with the windows open.Cons Parking was very expensive and hard to find over night parking.Front windows are on a busy street noise on the weekend.

Everything was as promised, but we didn't realize the parking issues when we booked! Cute and cozy place, just parking close by is really Hit or Miss..

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit is exactly as described and location was perfect. Everything was walkable. We did have challenges with parking as we arrived on a Saturday afternoon and it was a beautiful beach day but during the week there were no parking issues.The weather was warm so we had to use the fans during the evening and they worked pretty good. Only one issue we reported to the host was regarding the door from the lane level up the stairs. The door would bang quite loudly if the user didn’t hold it to close. The sound could be quite jarring but when reported they said they would look after it. Even though a couple minor issues we really enjoyed the unit and location and would book again.

The condo is conveniently located right off the beach with an ocean view! It is the perfect size for a couple or couple with a couple of kids. The place had everything you would need for a stay. Kitchen is so convenient with full size appliances. Only thing missing is a dishwasher but wasn’t a big deal. Only complaint is that the towels are not soft at all. Would stay again any time!!

We got in super late and after dark- the pictures and instructions were spot on and made it super easy to get into our place which was much appreciated! It’s a cute place — great location. No AC but a lot of fans.

We had a marvelous time and it is literally steps from the ocean. We look forward to visiting again next Summer.

Great location, near everything in the heart of Pacific Beach. No frills but very clean and we felt safe. It took care of all our needs. We would stay there again.

The location is good and it appeared to be clean and orderly till we found 2 dirty socks under the sofa and terrible stains on the mattress of the voteAll in all it was good and comfortable. The price was good too.

This property is great for beach access! Literally just steps away. Property does have beach views. Can also see the Mission Bay too, from the alley way. Properly has definitely been updated. Property has all the amenities you would need, including chairs, towels and boogie boards you can take down to the beach. However, if you plan to bring a car, just know there is no designated parking, the listing is misleading. You may have to park on the street, which extremely limited, and potentially a couple miles down the road like we had to. The apartment was clean, but when we stayed there, it did appear as if the sheets were not clean, if they were, they did have other peoples hair still on them. Overall, good place to stay for beach access, but parking is my pet peeve, along with clean bed sheets. If I couldn't find another place with assigned parking. I'd stay here again.

Loved being able to see the ocean from one window and the bay from another. Super convenient for all the beach walks and fun stops. Definitely worth repeating.

We love to see & hear the waves. This is a great place to stay in PB. Hop & a skip to the beach, & the balcony is perfect for watching the sunset. We’ll be back!

This is a building with two units. You enter through a locked door on the ground level and walk up a flight of steps to a patio serving both. We stayed in the smaller studio unit whose section of patio has an actual beach view--the photo is quite accurate--you can sit at two bar-height chairs and eat and drink while actually seeing, hearing, and smelling the ocean. It's well-maintained. They've fixed the most important maintenance issues from the prior year we stayed. The shared wall is thick enough that we've never heard the neighbors (with kids) in the other unit. No air conditioning, but if you open the screen door and windows and strategically use drapes it stays quite comfortable even in August. Plenty of fans in the unit but we've never needed them. If you sleep with windows open, the street can be noisy with overexcited bar patrons in the middle of the night and truck traffic in the early morning. Otherwise it's a good location--a very affordable rental shop across the street, good bus service, plenty of eating and drinking spots within a few blocks, grocery and pharmacy and lots more eating and drinking 15 minutes walking one direction, and old-school amusement park about a half hour walk the other direction if that's your thing. It's a good space for the two of us. We've stayed twice and hope to return next year. It's the best compromise of price, location, and amenities we've found.

The space was less than a block from the beach, with views from the balcony and room. We appreciated the extra bed provided and sofa bed. It fit our family of four comfortably. We got to BBQ on the porch and use the beach equipment, which was a huge bonus. We will definitely book this place again!

We had a fantastic stay at the beach house in Mission Beach! The property was clean, well-maintained, and just steps away from the beach. The location was perfect for our family, with plenty of nearby restaurants, shops, and activities to keep everyone entertained.
