Cedars First Chair Townhome: On The Slopes

The property was like our home away from home. Had everything we needed and more. So close to skiing, shops, sledding. Perfect place for our vacation!

Great stay, will book again

Condo was great, very comfortably accommodated our family of 4, clean and well equipped, lots of space. Kitchen is big and lots of counter space. Proximity to Quicksilver super chair is excellent, maybe 150’ walk to snow, and ski down to the lift. Can also walk up to Beaver Run chair, a little further but we did a couple times as it was less busy than Quicksilver, and goes directly to Peak 9. Overall great proximity to access the mountain. The only issue we had was that the oven was broken, the door wouldn’t latch so it didn’t work. We let the host know as soon as we discovered it, and turns out they were already aware of it but didn’t bother to tell us. Unfortunately we had already gone grocery shopping for the week, including plans for a few meals that required an oven. I understand that appliances break, but that should have been communicated to us proactively. Host suggested wedging a chair oven door it to keep the door closed so it would work, but we opted NOT to do that. Would we stay here again? Yeah, it’s a nice comfortable spot and while we were annoyed we got over the oven issue and had a great trip.

Perfect location and well-equipped unit. We really appreciated the separate suites with bathrooms. We could easily walk to town or to our conference at Beaver Run. Excellent spot!

Kitchen faucet extremely loose and nearly falling over is the only significant item to note

We enjoyed being right beside the Quicksilver lift for easy ski access. The condo was very well equipped and comfortable for our small group of adults, but would be great for up to three couples as well.

I'm sure that this place used to be really nice, however it's not in great shape. I really liked the design, the location, and the layout. The floors were dirty, the kitchen sink faucet wasn't attached to the counter top, one of the toilets was constantly running and wouldn't flush, and the dishwasher was falling apart. It's a shame because the place is really well designed, but I expected more

We had to time showers carefully. Advertised to have Comcast cable, but that never worked, even after their expert fixed it.But overall, a great unit in a great location.

Two complaints were that Internet was very spotty (but its the mountains!), and the Water heater, i think, in garage ran late at night so basement bedroom was noisy.

Was fine for us and something to consider. Unfortunately, we had an issue and the internet was not working which was challenging for a few of us that had to work. The management company was responsive and tried to fix it, ultimately couldn't and needed comcast to come. They did provide a refund for the issue. Great management company to work with and a lovely townhome.
