Castle Reef #423, 2/2 Ocean View / No Drive Beach Condominium

Beautiful cozy condo right on the beach! Had a great time during our stay

The condo was clean and had what we needed. We had a computer glitch on getting check in info but was taken care of quickly as soon as I let them know. The view is wonderful and the sound of the waves is amazing. My only problem is with the bathroom faucets. I don't have the strength to turn them on or off. Otherwise it was a great place to stay

Very clean and had everything we needed!

We had a great stay at Castle Reef! The condo was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. We had a great view of the ocean. The walk to the beach & the pool was short & easy. Having access to beach chairs & umbrellas in the condo was a great touch - everything we needed was available. Communications & check in were a breeze. Would definitely stay again!

Coral Reef complex was well maintained; easy access to both beach and pool; beach was easy to walk. The condo provided an outstanding view of the ocean; space was quite adequate for 3 adults; and kitchen was well stocked. Definite updates are needed in both bathrooms. Bathtubs looked well worn (would not want to take a bath in either one) & faucets were quite difficult to turn. Another beneficial update would be an entry code instead of using a lockbox and key.). Making these updates would make this condo a lot more desirable. In spite of recommended updates, our week there went well.

We had an amazing stay at Castle Reef! Perfect little condo with everything you need, great view of the ocean, and close to NSB restaurants and Flagler ave! Our kids loved spending time at the pool, which also has a kiddie pool for the younger kids. The hosts were great at communication with anything we needed. We have been coming to New Smyrna our whole lives and this condo was one of my favorites, we will be back!

I recently stayed at this rental property, and overall, it was a great experience. The place is incredibly cozy and well-maintained, with a clean and welcoming atmosphere. It’s stocked with a variety of amenities that made the stay convenient and enjoyable.One standout feature is the extra bedding provided—such a thoughtful addition for families or groups needing flexibility. However, the one drawback is the lack of direct access to the beach, which would have been a nice bonus.Despite that, it’s a wonderful spot for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Highly recommend it for those who prioritize comfort and convenience!

Very quiet and relaxing

One thing I wish we were told, is that the beach access stairs were gone. We had to walk to a public beach access to get on the beach.

This was our second time staying at this property and it was just as good as the first. The location and available amenities are perfect for our family. The beach steps were unfortunately damaged by the hurricanes prior to our stay, but public beach access is only a 2 minute drive away. We will definitely look into this property for our next trip to New Smyrna Beach.

Perfect home to stay in. Hated to leave. The Host has stocked it perfectly with absolutely everything you might need. Very very comfortable from the beds to the living room. His t was responsive to my questions. Will definitely stay there again.

The owners were great to work with. They gave us an early checkin time and although there was a little snag (no key in the lockbox) they resolved it quickly and we still got in early. We loved the condo and the view was beautiful, parking was easy, and the walk to the pool and beach was easy. The only thing that was somewhat uncomfortable for us was the thermostat was locked at 74 and we found that to be warmer than really comfortable especially at night. The owners offered to call the AC people who set it so that it wouldn't freeze up but we decided to just deal with it since we were only spending a few days. The washer and dryer located around the corner near the elevator was convenient to the room location (inside the condo would be even better!) but the dryer didn't completely dry the loads (probably due to the high humidity) but the closet in the master bedroom had plenty of hangers and room to hang everything overnight to finish drying. It was $2.50 per wash load and same for dryer run charged to charge card so no quarters needed. The owners were quick to respond to all questions while we were there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

We have previously stayed at this property. We returned because the condo and complex are very nice. It is as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Nicely appointed. Beautiful view and large pool, tennis courts, and shuffleboard.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. It had everything we needed: it was clean, cutely decorated, and very comfortable. The pool and grounds were clean and tidy. The beach was amazing! The view from the reclining love seat is awe inspiring!

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay in the condo. The location to the beach is amazing! The condo had plenty of room and the owners provided beach chairs, toys and other items for our use while staying. When we visit NSB again, I will check here first.

Very clean, great view!

I am rating the property a 4 stars. The only reason for this is there is very minimal available in the condo. There were 4 of us for 4 nights and only had 4 towels that were very cheap and old. Only had 3 beach towels that looked and felt Over 10 years old with no color and no beach chairs to use. There were only 4 cheap hand towels available for 4 nights and 4 family members. We were driving there I wish I knew how many other things I should have brought. If you are flying to this location know that you will have minimal to use at this property.

The location was great with a nice view of the beach. The condo itself had everything we needed. I would stay here again. Thank you, Bill & Irene.

The condo was clean and nicely furnished. The king bed was comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked w kitchenware. The view of the ocean from the condo was amazing. The Olympic sized pool allowed for room to play or just float and the condo grounds are beautiful and well kept. Would definitely stay again.
