Castle Pines Efficiency Unit

It smell so very musty! It was dusty and dirty. The bathroom sink didn’t drain and the smoke detector fell from the ceiling

The property was in a gated community. The gate operator was always rude and nasty. Dust ruffle was not cleant on bed was not clean.

It was a good experience.the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was small and the small fridge did not work as well to keep frozen food in it. The pool is beautiful and in excellent condition. Overall, it was a good experience

I liked that it was a gated community and felt secure during my visit. The only problem we had (and this is not the fault of my host)...we had a family in the adjoining unit that were very noisy. Luckily they were there only for the weekend. Other than that we loved everything about the unit and the development.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. It was clean, quiet, beautiful pool, had everything I needed for my stay and the communication was great. I would definitely stay at this property again.

The Hosts Bill and Susan were easy to contact and did respond back to my concerns. I was happy to hear that they will update their property to remind those who may be disabled that it's on the 2nd floor. I just assumed every building has an elevator option. They wouldn't refund me half that I asked for the pain and suffering but they did refund $50 since I had to clean the room. I was so worn out with all that I had to do to get up and down the stairs that I stayed an extra day. I'm in the middle of moving and brought things with me to organize so they were nice enough to let me keep the hangers but with all the hidden fees and the trickery that Expedia used to send me to an unknown website called Vrbo, I will not be using it again. After reading all the bad reviews about Vrbo, I'm surprised the Expedia does business with them.

Communication with the host was quick and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Gated security was an ease to access.

Excellent accommodations and host. The unit was immaculate with thorough attention to all the necessities to ensure the guests have many “comforts of home!”

The unit is sufficient for the amount of people we had (3), and was priced fairly. However, there were definitely some downsides. To start, we never received our check-in email with all the information required to get through the gate, and the man working the gate was not very helpful or friendly either. Finally after letting us through with just our ID info we couldn't access the room since there was no code given for the door. The shower screams at you the entire time you're in it. The beds are VERY hard and uncomfortable. The smoke detector is hanging from the ceiling. All that being said, the dresser & closet (which had hangers) were decent. There was shampoo, conditioner, & body wash provided (very helpful since my son didn't pack any of his). There was hand soap for the restroom, dish soap & sponge for the kitchenette, and paper towels. So, overall not terrible, but could be better.

First of all I cannot say enough about the owner. We hit a little bit of a snafu checking in and it was rather late at night when we arrived, but Susan was on it immediately and went over and above to assist us so that we could get right in. The place was perfect for us, we rented both of the units together as we had our son with us. He had his own area to do his college studies, while my husband and I had the larger unit with the kitchen and living room and screened in porch which overlooks a small pond that is stocked with small fish. My husband was out there every morning catching and releasing and had a ball. It is tastefully decorated, so it is much more personable than a hotel, with a very cozy and homey vibe. It is very clean! We enjoyed our time at the pool, which also has a jacuzzi up above. I couldn't have asked for more, and hope to be back again next year for Spring Training.

Great property in a gated community. We felt very safe at this property. Property close by many shops and restaurants.

Susan was wonderful and attended to one issue so quickly. I would recommend this property to anyone. A little small for 4 people but excellent for two.
