Awesome stay!
All great with is property but larger drinking (water) glasses needed in this altitude. A juice glass is too small, stock with a few larger glasses.
The condo was very clean and neat, comfortable bed, great kitchen and I enjoyed the small but functional patio. The condo building is one story so you don't have to deal with loud footsteps above you. It is a very quiet area and was easy to walk to many places in town. The air chiller was necessary as it was warm during the days. I would stay here again.
It absolutely met our needs for the weekend. We walked to the events in the square, the farmerโs market and the Railyard as well as nearby restaurants. Everything was 2 miles or less away, but during Native American market weekend, we knew parking was going to be a nightmare in Santa Fe so that had been part of our plan. We walk lots anyway and we were happy to put in over 20 miles in 3 days. The nearby neighborhoods have pretty gardens and alleys so we enjoyed walking through them and didnโt feel at all unsafe while walking. The condo was quiet and pretty well stocked and roomy for 2 adults. I wouldnโt recommend more. Not sure where theyโd sleep as there was one king bed and a very small futon type sofa. I would recommend a new sofa in the large room. Normally, we spend very little time watching tv in a vrbo, but one day was rainy off and on and we would have enjoyed some relaxing time doing just that, but the small โsofaโ just wasnโt comfortable for that idea. The condo was very clean and quiet with easy checkin and checkout.
The property was a very functional place if you are wanting to be close to everything. Quick walk to the Railyard, a bit longer walk to the Plaza, close to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and restaurants. If you are looking for a desert retreat, go somewhere else, because this is a condo (as advertised) with neighbors very close to you. But, for the price, it is great if you are just looking for a home base to explore Santa Fe for a few days.
Very close to almost everything to see in Santa Fe. Clean, Kitchen had most appliances you would need. Large number of dishes, silverware and glasses. Excellent shower. Parking spot close to entrance to the complex. Small condo but well equipped. Small sitting outside area.. The reason not a 5 star is it an older complex. I would recommend that the lighting be increased. The ceiling fixtures do not give much light. An alternative would be to add a 2nd floor lamp.
This property was perfect for our stay. The location is optimal. The bed was super comfortable. However there were some issues with the plumbing- the drains were sluggish. The couch was not very comfortable for watching TV.
We have used VRBO all over the world. Santa Fe, where we lived for 12 years, has a large number of less than stellar short term rental agencies. VRBO is NOT one of them. They have no bad locations or properties. The management is professional, courteous and extremely helpful and flexible. Dealing with Kokopelli Property Management was a pleasure. Thanks to all of you for a great stay.
Loved the location!!!
We loved our stay here! The casita was spotless, very well-equipped, with a smooth check-in and check-out. It is listed as having a stacked washer/dryer, which it didn't, but there is a washer/dryer available for guests on the property. We'll be back!
