Casa McMullen - Most Sought After Beachfront Property

Casa McMullen is a wonderful place! On beach, downtown PV with great views, wonderful decorations and helpful staff! We can’t wait to stay there again!Melinda was very helpful with questions and recommendations! We highly recommend!

HORRIBLE!!!I usually try to be positive but I have to be accurate with this review so other travelers may be warned. Background: I am a single mom who was travelling with my two young kids. First, the pictures are reflective of the apartment. Quite frankly that's the only positive. However, upon our arrival, the neighborhood itself is less than desirable and did not feel safe. Upon our arrival, we saw a sign posted by the elevator stating that in the event it shuts down, we should keep calm. Help will arrive in 30 minutes or less. It is important to note that there is no air circulation in the elevator. We therefore opted to climb the SIX flights of stairs! When we finally entered the apartment, we noticed hat there was no running water. Two different technicians had to come to resolve the problem. Then, the icing on the cake was our Check-in instructions. As paying guests, even though daily housekeeping is provided, we are responsible for cleaning the kitchen and restocking the refrigerator. I did not pay to become anyone's housekeeper. I'm on vacation! I reached out to Melinda, the owner, who was rather nonchalant, dismissive and defensive. Although we were booked for almost a week, we left after only only night. My children and I have been traumatized ever since. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT!

Vista del Sol (VdS) is one of our favorite places to stay in Puerto Vallarta. Fortunately for the visitor, lovely Casa McMullen is in VdS. The condo’s balcony features a magnificent panoramic ocean view that is yours to keep all to yourself! Savor the sunrise as the heavens welcome another day in Puerto Vallarta while you’re sipping morning coffee. Casa McMullen is on the Malecon and is close to restaurants and shops. VdS has an attentive and friendly front desk, and the building is secure. Casa McMullen is now on our list of favorite VdS condos, and we look forward to our next stay.

We had a wonderful time here. Nice beach bar in front of the building and perfect access to the best parts of the city.

Cant say enough good things about our stay! First a big shoutout to Melinda, she was an excellent host and was super helpful in answering any questions. I visited with my parents and sister, the space was ideal for 3 adults and a teen. Its also super gorgeous just as all the reviews say, there’s so much thought and attention to detail gone into the design and layout it made our experience even more authentic. The views from the balcony are more breath taking than the photos, one of those things that you really just have to experience for yourself to understand. We couldn’t have picked a better location everything you need is a hop skip and jump away! Plenty - and I do mean plenty, of restaurants, grocery stores, cafes, pharmacies in the area. The proximity to the beach was heavenly for us, we enjoyed walking around and exploring all that Zona Romantica had to offer. It also didnt feel overly crowded (atleast to us) given that we went on a long weekend. Already planning my next visit, thank you so much Melinda for having us! I highly highly recommend anyone planning their trip to pv to book this place you wont regret it!

This is the best place I have stayed at in PV. Right on the beach with view of the ocean. Perfect location for walking to the romantic zone area and the central town area. Kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. The only inconvenience is that there are no washers or dryers in the units. They are in the basement and shared by all. You are given a key for the room and pay 75 pesos per hour until returning the key. Melinda was very responsive and friendly.

My wife and I just finished a 6 night stay in this property. First and foremost, the property is in an ideal location overlooking the ocean and the malecon and within easy walking distance to the Romantica district which is the most vibrant area of Puerto Vallarta. The condo is well equipped and the complex has pool and barbecue facilities included. Great vacation condo.

Myself, husband, and two son (20&16) had a great time at Casa McMullen. The location was perfect for exploring Puerto Vallarta, and we enjoyed walking around and trying new foods. The apartment was clean and had a well-stocked kitchen, allowing us to make some meals at home. The staff were warm and inviting, and we felt welcome throughout our stay. We hope to visit again soon.

My wife and I stayed at Casa McMullen. This was our first trip to Puerto Vallarta and it was absolutely awesome! The cleaning lady was very nice and does a very good job of cleaning the condo unit. You really don’t need a car, everything is within walking range or you can grab an Uber fairly cheaply. I really appreciated that there was beach stuff, an umbrella, chairs and a cooler. We were able to go right out downstairs and be right there at the beach. The condo staff was all very friendly. We had an awesome time staying here and I would absolutely recommend Casa McMullen to anyone looking to come to PV!
