Stayed Aug 24, 2023Nice pool area and view of the ocean from the best patio I've ever had in the DR. If you like being close to shopping, a good pool area with also an ocean view from your balcony this is the best deal I've seen in about a dozen trips to The Republic. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and Domenico and his wife are always very responsive to any questions or problems. I've stayed here twice now and the only real problem has been the occasional loss of electricity, but this is something you sometimes encounter in The Republic. I've had it happen at more expensive properties. The frequency seems a little higher here or maybe I've just had bad timing (both my stays were during August, storm season). However as I said I've had this happen other places and the price of this apartment is very good for what it offers. I would certainly stay here a third time :-)
