Captains Quarters A is a duplex/apartment conveniently located only 1.5 blocks to Tybee's South beach, pier, restaurants, and shopping. This home is perfect for the budget traveler and couples. Tasteful furnishings, artwork, and accessories throughout the home. The living area features a sleeper sofa and a 32 inch TV. The dining area has seats 4.

The bedroom features a King-size bed and a large flat-screen TV. The large furnished sunroom in the front of the house is furnished with table seating for 4 - perfect for reading a good book and enjoying a good cup of coffee at any time of the day. The wall-mounted split a/c is perfect for keeping the apartment cool in summer months and warm in cooler months.

The large front yard has an outdoor brick (charcoal) BBQ and an additional gas grill for guest use. There are a washer and dryer available for guest's use. The washer and dryer are shared with the neighboring unit. Parking for two cars and Wifi for guest use. Handicap friendly (ground level, no stairs; not ADA compliant).

    The property was a block away from the beach and peer and since we brought our own ebikes, getting around anywhere we needed to was a breeze. We had a blast and the children loved getting to explore and have a new adventure.

    the sink in the kitchen leaked very bad I had to use towels to soak up the water. I was not able to use the sink.

    Our stay was very pleasant.The only change I would recommend, is adding pull curtains to the sunroom for more privacy at night, and adding at least a door chain to be able to lock the connecting door from the main house and the sunroom.

    Nice location to the south beach and pier. Never walked it, but did bike and used a golf cart. Decent size for 2 adults and a child. Small bathroom and kitchen, when the sofa bed was out not a lot of room in the living room area. The sunroom was nice. There’s quite a few rules in place, but the surrounding properties didn’t really follow them which was a little annoying. It would be difficult to fit two cars next to each other in the proclaimed 2 parking spots for the unit. If you’re looking for a place to sleep, shower, and cook a simple meal while spending most of your time out and about this is the place to stay. Had difficulty with the checkout system, so I messaged them and called, they promptly took care of it. Would stay again.

    The property is well maintained but a bit too close to Sting Ray's restaurant which featured live music some nights. That said, it was very convenient and easy to walk to the beach and restaurants. It was a good value except of VRBO's excessive fees.

    Very clean, quiet stay within a very short walk of one of our favorite restaurants, Stingrays (get the conch fritters!) and a new coffee shop. Grab a bite and easily walk to the beach.

    It was a quaint little place one block from the beach..... clean and well-stocked. Walked to the grocery store and to every restaurant we visited. Never had to get in the car. Great, relaxing weekend!
