Capri TC: Charming Downtown TC Oasis

Very clean. Nice linens and glassware. Great location to walk downtown.

At first glance, the rental appeared clean and updated, but that quickly changed. The floors were quite dirty, with visible salt stains and debris. After sweeping, it was clear they hadn’t been properly cleaned in some time. I also noticed loose cupboard hinges. The bathroom had more serious issues. The handle on the glass shower door was not securely attached, which felt like a safety hazard. Additionally, neither bathroom outlet worked, and I was unable to find or reset a breaker. I contacted the host multiple times about this and never received a response. The location is convenient, just outside of downtown, but overall the unit needs a deep cleaning and better maintenance. The posted vacation rental certificate appeared expired (2023), which added to concerns about maintenance and responsiveness.

Location was great! Cold breeze in living room, die to sealing slider being broke, freezer and microwave was not cleaned out. Toaster had dried food in it. Keriug over was filled with coffee. Comforter has major pilling on it. Kitchen cabinets are very unorganized and things just tossed in for passing pans subs. Silverware drawer has lots of crumbs and very dirty in that area. bathroom outlets did not work at all and I dropped something behind the cabinet in the bathroom and it is very dirty behind there. Condo just needs a major deep clean. This is one property manager to another property manager.

Clean and convienent

No hot water for showers, internet password didn’t work, tv was bizarre with no directions, left a day early.

Property was very nice inside. The 2 bathroom outlets did not work and there was no towel bar in the bathroom to hang used towels. Other than that, we found the place to be very clean and well appointed.

This was our second time staying here in the last 2.5 years. Everything was within 10 minute walk and we only had to move our car twice. On Saturday, after we returned from the wedding in Sutton Bay, we had trouble finding a spot and had to park in the parking structure next door until the next morning. It was expected and we were fine with it. The only issues we had was the fire alarm & fan in the bedroom. As soon as we walked in, we knew the battery was low. There was no way we would be able to change the batteries. Every 8 hours, we had to hush it by pressing the button. Then, the fan remote wasn’t working and the fan lights were flickering. Other than that, our stay was great!

We really enjoyed this location! Problem is the remote didn’t work forthe TV, so we went and bought batteries. Then we got into bed and the ceiling fan didn't work. We weren't going out to buy more batteries.

Great smell of clean and ready home on arrival! Great walkable location for downtown TC, comfortable and quiet plus easy parking in lot. Didn't know about cool renovated theater spot across the street, wish I could have gotten tix :-( but lots to see/do/eat/walk/bike in TC. Great stay!

The apartment is wonderfully located. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. It had all the necessary amenities. Things to note, the electric outlets in the bathroom did not work, I had to prewash 2 of the 4 bath towels they had stains and the parking lot in back is small, so if you aren't back by 7pm you'll have to park in the bigger lot which costs 15 for overnight parking. Apartment is on 3rd floor which makes it quiet but if you have trouble with steps there is no elevator.

Wonderful place, close to downtown 5 minute walk

Great location. Not as clean as I had hoped. Crumbs under table and chairs (didn't look like floor had been swept). The pillows were stained (no pillow protectors, just a pillowcase). Nice unit but was a bit disappointed in the overall cleanliness of the place.

Nice place in a great location. The unit is on the 3rd floor, in case that is a problem for you.

This is a great and clean place in a fantastic location. You can walk to everything. The host was also very responsive.

We have stayed at this specific one at Capri twice! The location is perfect. The condo is clean, homey and cozy. ONLY qualm is the 300 (exaggeration) flights of stairs after walking all day, but I managed!! We didn’t want to come home!

It was my husbands first time here in Traverse City. He is now a fan! The communication was great. It was super easy to check in. Location was perfect for us, you can walk anywhere. Condo was clean and was perfect for us. We had a great time. Thanks for everything

First day there I notice we have one roll of toilet paper. Not much coffee and the kitchen has bare minimums. We had to call to get extra which they brought us. The next morning I was blow drying my hair and the both the bedroom and bathroom power goes out. Had to call again for help because the fuse box was hidden. We were trying to get to the hospital to see our first born grandchild so we were a bit flustered. The furnishings in the living room were nice but uncomfortable and the king size bed was awful as well as the bedding. It was pilled and scratchy and the sheets were full of static. There were no pillow protectors on the pillows, just pillow cases and the pillows were gross looking. There was one hook in the bathroom so only one person could hang up their wet towel. We ended up checking out 3 days early because of and issue with the baby’s health and I contacted the manager and asked for a partial refund. He refused saying he wouldn’t be able to rent it out again. In Traverse City Mi in the middle of winter I doubt anyone was interested in booking Vrbo. It would have been nice if I could have gotten a little bit back since it was a medical issue. I won’t ever book here again.

Met all expectations. Hope to stay here again.

Stayed there for a short weekend. Great location. Everything is within 10-15 min walking distance. There are only about 15 parking spaces for the whole complex. However, there is a parking garage less then a half block walk.

Everything was great. Please note the door wall (which we did not open or use) is not aligned and remains open near the top. It was okay for us, but in inclement weather it could be a problem.

The place was very clean, convenient and had everything we needed. The only complaint I have is severe lack of parking. It is not nearly adequate at all. Otherwise I would recommend.

This was my 5th stay in the Capri condos and 2nd stay in this specific condo. We LOVE the location, cleanliness, property owners, decor, everything! It is well stocked with everything you'd need. We stayed during the week so we were always able to find parking in the provided lot. We will always stay at Capri!
