'Camp Chestnut' - 200 Yards to Sugar Clubhouse!

We had the most excellent stay! The condo was extremely spacious, the location could not have been more perfect, and it was stocked with everything we needed. We will be back!!!

Terrific location within walking distance of Sugar resort/ski lodge! Just minor complaints - the stove was very slow to heat up for cooking; and the king size bed in the master was crazy squeaky. The rental check in process was smooth and checking out was easy - clear instructions. Would rent this location again.

It was a bit musty when we arrived, but easy to air out, with the screen door to the deck and lots of windows in the master BR. (Maybe some are Febreeze or update furniture?)I liked that it had individual room Thermostats. Newly remodeled kitchen & adjacent downstairs bath. Only deck furniture was2chairs& a small table, but again, perfect for us.

Location was great. Overall place was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Be careful around the oven. Those knobs turn super easy and when you just bump up against them turn to high automatic, and you don’t know it’s on. Bella Italian restaurant right up the road was delicious!

We had a wonderful four night stay at Camp Chesnut as we wanted to introduce our kids to skiing at sugar mountain. The cabin was as pictured and great use of space. We cooked every meal at the condo and loved watching movies and playing games at the table. We loved the huge windows. We walked each day to the mountain - great to have a short pass through so we didn’t have to drive. Made great use of the storage closet too. The ski school was booked up and the mountain was very busy but we had a good time anyway. The folks at alpine rental were nice! Food lion so close too. Overall wonderful trip. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Very nice stay at this cabin. Beds are comfortable. Multiple thermostats so guests can adjust own temperature. Easy walk to Sugar Mountain lodge. Very fun for family.

Location was excellent. However the condo was filthy, cobwebs and dog hair everywhere. Beds were not comfortable. It’s a shame because the condo is very cozy.
