SUMMARY
Welcome to this modern 2 Level studio loft home located in the heart of the vibrant Little Italy neighborhood of Downtown San Diego. Designed for modern, urban living by award winning architect & developer Jonathan Segal, this offering features tall ceilings with oversized windows offering lots of natural light. Other features include a living room with courtyard views, SMART TV, kitchen, queen bed, A/C. 1 dog ok (unfortunately no cats) ; maximum occupancy 2. (Notes: There is no washer/dryer or onsite parking. Loft ceiling is low, use caution when standing up).

THE SPACE
This is a quiet, private unit located in the rear above a garage. The main level entry door is on the ground level. Guests take a set of stairs (about 20 steps) to the main 2nd level living area…a light space filled with tons of natural light through the oversized patio glass doors. This area features a sofa, SMART TV, fully stocked kitchen with bar seating, accent chair, views out towards Downtown.

A set of stairs will lead you to the upper level open bedroom loft (*no door off this area), with views down to the living room & patio and queen bed. Rounding out the home is a full bath (tub/shower combo).

PARKING
There is no parking onsite (*PLEASE NOTE the blue garage door shown in the photo is not connected to the unit). However, across the street is a paid parking lot & overnight street parking is permitted.

THE PROJECT
Kettner Row consists of 16 row homes built by aware winning architect & developer Jonathan Segal & is located on a beautiful tree lined street in the vibrant Little Italy neighborhood of Downtown San Diego. Each home has their own exclusive entry with a shared courtyard. These row homes are similar to lofts with added benefits of privacy, open spaces, & individual entries.

LOCATION, DINING, ACTIVITIES
Little Italy hangs over India Street, which located just 1 block from our home! This area is alive with award winning local restaurants, alfresco cafés, craft breweries, & boutique shops, influenced by Italian culture.

For activities, the neighborhood hosts a variety of festivals, including ArtWalk, Festa, & the weekly Little Italy Farmer's Market (every Saturday). Head a few blocks south to the Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego's bustling downtown neighborhood with locally-owned eateries and lively nightlife venues.

A food-lovers paradise! Easy walk to some of the best dining in all of San Diego! Waterfront Bar & Grill and the Brigantine is a great casual place for all ages. For upscale Italian, try Buon Apetito or Bencotto. Steakhouse we recommend Born and Raised. Or for a nationally acclaimed restaurant try Juniper and Ivy, a modern American eatery. All within walking distance!!!
POLICIES & GOOD NEIGHBOR GUIDELINES

• Guest Requirements | Per certain regulations & HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years of age to book with us. If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30 (exceptions made for multigenerational families).
• Occupancy | Maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (i.e. includes both overnight guests & non-overnight visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Exceptions towards the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2. Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. The number of guests includes visitors, even if they are not staying overnight.
• Noise | Our homes are intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties are not allowed. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies, you may be asked to vacate the premise without any refund and additional charges may be assessed.
• Combination Listings | Due to occupancy restrictions, larger groups looking to book multiple units must reserve an approved combination listing. No more than 1 combination listing can be reserved per stay.

    Completely renovated and in excellent condition. Multiple restaurants within walking distance. A block away from the Red Trolley train line. Could use a security light above the entrance. Otherwise, a great stay. A comment about the loft: I'm 5' 7 and cross beams reached to the bottom of my ears. Not a problem for me, could be for others.

    I love San Diego and try to visit once a year, for now. Surf Style Vacation Homes has given me a good place to stay in the heart of Little Italy, by Kettner Row. I had access to the blue line, good eats, and the hillside sunset view that made me want to come back. For 1 person this place was perfect. I slept well, showered good and after a long day out, I had a place to come back to in a private spot vs a hotel with constant flow of traffic. I would definitely come back to this spot again. 10/10 Thank you for letting stay here!

    Nice property in a centralized location with all the food in the world around the location. It was a nice walk to the ocean front, an easy walk to the convention center, and the weather was so nice I even walked to the airport for my flight home.

    Our stay was lovely with one exception…wasn’t able to unload car upon arrival in the designated parking area although it wasn’t occupied..Also wouldn’t let us temporarily unload after a short trip to get groceries.

    I never received check-in information through VRBO. Landlord communicates outside VRBO. But when the AC did not work properly, then self-destructed, the landlord NEVER called me back. Had to sleep on couch since upstairs was too hot and stairs to get there are in disrepair - they look dangerous.

    Excellent location in the heart of Little Italy! Steps away from India street and the blue/green line. The property does not enter off the main road, so at night, it is very quiet. Best of both worlds!

    We stayed at this adorable loft located at the edge of Little Italy. Wonderful location! There is no parking on site. Management refers you to a lot across the street but it is $10 per hour! This drastically changes the cost of a long weekend! We took our chances and parked on the street. Luckily, no issues. There was garbage at our front door the day we arrived. It grew and stayed there the entire 5 days. I called management twice, but they did not take care of the problem. Also, a homeless couple decided to visit the motor courtyard at the property. (The courtyard that we could not use.) They stayed for the afternoon. This site is in an ideal location but I am not sure I would stay here again.

    My mom and I loved this place. Everything was close by and being able to walk to the places we needed was great. We didn’t realize that parking would be a luxury we would miss but other than that this place was amazing.

    The property is in an excellent location in San Diego, in the heart of Little Italy. It was off an alley, so very quiet and relaxing. There is an issue with head space in the loft, but I was aware of that upfront. Being off an alley, it is very difficult to find. There is no signage until you are standing in front of the door, not visible from the alley. This was my 1st VRBO, one disappointing thing was there was no coffee! There were 2 packs of decaf but that was it. At other housing rentals I have stayed at there is usually coffee (you would have that in a hotel too), snacks (chips, cookies, granola bars, fruit gummies, microwave popcorn, etc.). The hosting fee is probably more than enough to at least offer coffee.
