As far as I can tell, the Pioneer condos all have the same floor plan, so it's the views and furnishings that make the difference. If you want the best views, this is a great option! If you want fancy furnishings, then you'll want to look elsewhere. Regardless, this condo is my new favorite. I love that it's at the end of the development so there are fewer neighbors and nothing blocking the gorgeous views of the valley. The Murphy bed/dining table combo is a creative add that's great for kids, while the island offers more counter space for the well-stocked kitchen. These features also make things a bit more cramped but overall we enjoyed our stay.
The views out all of the windows and decks were spectacular. Having a real fireplace was a bonus.
We love the views and serenity of the whole place. Checking in can be confusing with the layout of the property, especially at night,, and it's tough to be spontaneous and extend a stay with the customer service, but despite normal maintenance to some facilities, and declining ammenities according to the pictures, we will still come back, hence the 5 stars. It's a cute, fun getaway close to Boise.
Beautiful views, comfortable beds.
Great view and location
This place is great! Its a little dated, so if you are expecting the Ritz then keep looking. It is clean, comfortable and well stocked. For me it is perfect and I plan to return next ski season. The 12 hour drive from California was worth it.
Cozy, comfortable & clean condo. Stayed 4 nites for spring skiing. Its the furthest condo from the parking lot. Very quiet with fabulous views from every window. Two nice balconies. Enjoyed sitting in the sun after each ski day & watching the gorgeous sunsets. Fireplace worked fine. Firewood is supplied but we brought our own 3 hr. pressed logs. We would definitely stay here again.
This unit provided a nice mid-week get away. The unit was clean and ready to go. Kitchen was stocked with the basics including a coffee maker. Staff, however did not supply enough dishwasher detergent. Bewre: if you like you sleep in a dark bedroom this is not for you. Pathway light is right outside window and the drapes are not sufficient. We hung a blanket over the drapes and still was able to clearly make out every detail. Fireplace smokes slot and set off smoke detector. Heater in the bedroom was making alot of noise. Called to report the issue & spoke with someone in person. Was told that maintenance would come take a look but they never showed up. No remote for bluray player.
Though the setting of this condo was nice, it was nowhere close to Horseshoe Bend. We were looking forward to being in Horseshoe Bend along the Payette River. This place was a top a ski lift at Bogus Basin, nowhere near a river, grocery store or restaurants. We feel like we were mislead by the ad saying it was in Horseshoe Bend which was about two hours away by steep winding roads. We only stayed three of our purchased five nights. We went down the mountain to Boise and spent the remainder of our trip there. Disappointed ... but the location was beautiful.
Really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean, grounds were clearly maintained and well kept. View was incredible. Everything advertised was delivered. One downside- the website has the check out time listed as 10:00 AM, but everywhere in the room it is clearly marked that checkout time is 11:00 AM. I could see this being problematic, if one was charged a late checkout.
