Stayed Dec 29, 2025Over all we enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was cozy and the view is incredible. The negatives are as folllows: there were a lot of fingerprints on the microwave, mirror, and glass patio door. The front door was actually open when we arrived which made us a little nervous at first. Most places supply coffee in some manner but this place does not. If there are high winds this place is very noisy and it can be hard to sleep. That is a trade off for being at the top of a mountain. The roads were well maintained after a snow though and it was easy to drive with our 4 WD car. It’s not super clear where you can get on the slopes from here. That being said we didn’t plan to start at the top of the mountain anyway as our daughter is a beginner.

Stayed May 24, 2025Enjoyed Memorial Day weekend in Sugar Mountain and Banner Elk. The beds were comfortable and the condo was very clean. The gas fireplace is a cozy addition and the large deck was a nice place to relax and enjoy the view. Very quiet, relaxing time!

Stayed Aug 10, 2024We enjoyed staying at this property located 5100' above sea level. It was like being on top of the world! Nice property with gorgeous landscaping throughout the complex. It was steps to the chair lift at Sugar Mountain. This time of year, there were lots of mountain bikers on the slopes.
