Breezy, Quaint, and Dog- Friendly North End duplex.

Beautiful home that is very close to the beach!

Loved the house, it's adorable and in a great location

I cannot say enough how amazing this place was. I booked last minute during the Covid crisis to just get away for a few days. Check-in was a breeze, the house was spotless, spacious and had every comfort of home. The gift basket was an added touch for me and my dog, Oliver. I was amazed at the size of the place, and the screened in porch and front yard were so nice to relax in. The beach is just steps away and is spectacular. I would recommend Angie's place to everyone - I wish I could have stayed longer. Hopefully I can come back again during the summer!

We loved our stay! The place was perfect for our senior dog and the proximity to the beach was amazing. Thoughtful amenities throughout made it feel like home and we hope to come back again soon!

This property was an excellent value and provided a fabulous weekend of beautiful memories for myself and my family. The check in process was seamless and communication from the owner was efficient and easy. I would definitely recommend staying here. I would give 6 stars if I could! :-)

We chose the perfect place to stay in VA Beach for a weekend volleyball tournament. Every thing was better than expected, Angie is very professional, personal and easy to deal with. The home has everything you need for a getaway with your family and dog. We are so glad we choose to stay at Angie’s place. We will be back!!!!

The home was absolutely charming and comfortable for our stay! Kitchen had pots, pans, etc to allow cooking for small meals! The neighborhood was extremely quiet and cozy. We were very pleased with our and look forward to possibly booking again in the summer!!!!

Great place to stay! My family and I have stayed here multiple times. It's clean and located close to the beach which is perfect for taking our dog on walks. The host even provided snacks for us and a toy for our dog!

Everything was great, but you should probably call your pest man out because there were many cockroaches.

Wonderful place to stay at Virginia Beach. Easy walk to the beach, saw dolphins every day, and mostly had the beach to ourselves. House was clean and very comfortable for two adults and two teenagers. Had a great week!

Angie always does a great job of opening up her home to us. The location cannot be beat. The outdoor shower is superb. And the beach umbrellas and cool beach chairs and wagon are so nice to have easily accessible. The neighborhood is quiet and welcoming and lots of dog walking and friendly waves as we sit on the screened porch. It’s our favorite week of the year.

Perfect for the two of us and our dog. The thoughtful amenities (like a jar full of dog biscuits) made it all the more charming. You cannot beat the location. We were there the second week of June and practically had the beach to ourselves. Will definitely return next year!

there are small things the landlords have done you'll notice during your stay that make so much sense, itll have you wondering why other properties dont. like the lattice around the inside of the screen room. a take it or leave basket with small things you may need in a pinch. A host and property.

This was our second stay and just as good as our first! Fantastic value, excellent location, screened porch and fenced front yard are amazing. We love it here.

We enjoyed our week long stay here as the host/guest provided easy check-in/out instructions and provided everything we needed for our stay. We really enjoyed our stay. My only disappointment (minor) is I wish the cost was slightly less during the winter as the VB area is not visited much during winter months. Other than that, great stay and experience.

Nice little getaway that's close to the beach!

Very clean and overall a great place to stay with our dog. The beach is a short walk away, which was great for taking walks in the morning. Appreciated the fenced in front yard. We stayed in January and the area was very quiet. Would definitely stay again.

This place is the best place my family has ever stayed. The location is great, the place is so homey and the host is fantastic. She replies quickly to any questions and is so thoughtful and the place just feels like home and is cozy. This was our second time staying there and already booked our next visit!

The duplex was charming and clean. Short walk to the beach. Enjoyed sitting on the fenced in yard ejoying the sun. Its very nice to stay at this end of Va beach where the traffic is lighter.We throughly enjoyed our stay. Our host was easy to communicate with! I will rent from Angie again.

The host thought of everything! This place was super cute. Quiet part of the neighborhood provided a ton of needed r and r. The host provided the nicest basket with all of the items we didn't know we needed but they came in so handy! Everything was just perfect!

We have stayed at other properties in Virginia Beach, and this is our favorite by far. Even though it is an older property and could use a couple of minor maintenance tweaks, it checked the boxes for what we enjoy - peace and quiet, easy one block walk to the beach, comfortable beds, close to First Landing Park and easy driving distance to restaurants and stores. The screened porch was a delight and the dogs loved the fenced yard. The welcome basket was great - high quality dog toys and Pepperidge Farm snacks, plus some useful items like laundry detergent. This will definitely be our choice when returning to Virginia Beach!

Doodles is a marvelous place to stay in Virginia Beach. It's clean, quiet and close to the beach. Angie, the owner, provides ALL the necessities for a relaxing time at the beach: beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach cart ( to haul the other stuff to the beach :) ) and a kitchen with all the tools to prepare anything from scrambled eggs to a holiday dinner. There are also a couple surprises for both the visitors and their pets. The beach is only a ten minute walk away (no streets to cross) and you can drive to the boardwalk area in 30 minutes.

The property owner had thought of just about everything you would need and even games and activities for rainy days. We stayed with our two large dogs and they had plenty of room. The property was very clean and close to first landing State Park and the VA Beach attractions. Very short walk to the beach! We would love to stay here again someday!

We spent an enjoyable weekend at this property which has been nicely upgraded and is a short walking distance from the beach. The owner was very responsive and the property was as advertised. We would stay here again.

So glad I stumbled on this gem of a location! If you want to avoid crowds and “tourist traps” this is the spot for you. The house is well maintained, clean, and has all that you could need. Quiet neighborhood, and an extremely short walk to the beach. Angie responded quickly when we needed help, even when it was because we didn’t read her instructions onsite. (Sorry Angie!!). Will definitely look to book this one again the next time we are coming to Virginia Beach.
