We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this elegant apartment in Charlotte's historic district. It was so much fun for me to return home to the city I love, and get to wake to the sound of the morning train--just as I did as a child. The unit was well appointed and beautiful, with excellent light and privacy, good parking, and safe walking areas (paved sidewalks) for our dog. Super convenient to Freedom Park and uptown, Eastover neighborhood...not to mention fab Laurel Market for lunch! Doug was a wonderful host, and very responsive to our inquiries. Thank you. We will definitely stay there again!

We were staying in Charlotte to find a house to buy and this VRBO was in a great location to look at in-town neighborhoods. Close to downtown and extremely convenient. Everything about it was easy.

We absolutely loved this Myers Park apartment, and cannot say enough good things about our stay! The host was extremely accomodating and helpful, and the ease of communication was exceptional. The extra touches left in the apartment for our stay were above and beyond anything we've ever experienced in any of the other VRBO properties in which we've stayed. The fixings for an easy but tasty dinner as well as a light breakfast were in the apartment when we arrived, as well as a few options should we have decided we'd like a cocktail or glass of wine. The kitchen was well appointed with dishes, cutlery, cookware, etc. The furnishings were very comfortable and the apartment looked exactly as depicted in the photos online. We LOVED the large couch(es)! The neighborhood was lovely (aside from the unfortunate construction that was going on on the street in front of the building, which is obviously not the host's fault or under their control), and central to everywhere we wanted to go in and around Charlotte. Checkin and Checkout were simple and non-contact, and the host even accomodated an early checkin request, which started our trip off beautifully! The only negatives we could find were the unreliable spotty internet and the tight parking lot, but the fact that there WAS a parking lot at all was something we did appreciate. The property seemed well tended and maintained. We appreciated having the smart TVs in the unit, which we took advantage of during the evenings after our daytme sightseeing and visiting family. The one bathroom is very small, and is a Jack and Jill style bathroom that is located between the two bedrooms. This was not an issue for us since we were the only ones staying in the apartment, but for other combinations of guests (two couples, for example) it might be more of a consideration. Overall, this was a fabulous place to stay and if we visit Charlotte again, it will be at the top of our list of places to book.

Jim was a phenomenal host and thought of everything! The home was spotless and beds were comfortable! I loved the personal touch, the thoughtful texts, emails and suggestions. There were snacks for the kids, breakfast items and wine/drinks for the adults. Extremely thoughtful and generous. Beautiful home and great location!
