    Besides not being given the correct door lock code and having to wait 15 minutes outside the door in the dark with all our luggage at 11:30pm for the answering service to call us back, our stay was wonderful. What the condo lacked in basic supplies (dish towels, dish washer detergent, trash bags, toilet paper, etc.) was more than made up for with a well stocked beach supply closet that the owners provided...umbrellas, nice chairs, a beach cart, toys, beach towels, etc. Very nice of them! The walk to the beach may be too far for some (about 400 yards?) but we loved it. The location is wonderful right next to Bowmans Beach and Ding Darling and almost exactly half way between Sanibel dining/shopping and Captiva dining/shopping. Our only complaint about the condo was a bad odor in the master bedroom closet. Other than that it was clean and spacious with breezy, elevated screened in decks and lots of fans. Would definitely stay here again!

    We were not able to get into the condo until 3:30 pm which was frustrating because it was raining all day and had to sit in our car the last half hour of waiting. The code to unlock the door that they emailed us did not work. Did not receive all items that they said we would receive in the started kit. Called to let them know and they said they would let housekeeping know but never received the items missing? There were NO instructions on where extra towels or the beach towels were located, I had to ask people by the pool where they got their beach towels. No instructions on how to leave the condo?

    We loved the location, decor, and amenities. Not too fancy, but just right for our family with an 8 year old and 12 year old. The condo grounds were well kept, the pool was nice, and the beach was fantastic. We love kayaking, so it was fun to kayak on the bayou to an almost secluded beach about a mile and a half west. If you love nature and beaches without lots of people, this is the place for you. My husband and son found a ton of nice shells by snorkeling a little bit out from the beach.
