Beautifully remodeled oceanfront condo with lovely views, pool access & W/D

The location was great and the on grounds pool was clean and well kept. The condo wasn’t cleaned properly upon arrival and after complaint, Vacasa sent someone to come clean floors and bathrooms. They appeared to have been barely touched from the previous guests. We did see 2 large water roaches in the unit which kind of freaked me out. The bunk bed was super squeaky up top and could maybe use some work. Pillows were awful - I recommend bringing your own. The king bed was comfortable and having linens provided is convenient. Overall we felt like cleanliness could be better- seems like a deep clean has been a while.

The unit was not properly cleaned upon arrival however Vacasa did send someone to clean after my complaint. It is evident that a deep clean (getting into corners, under things, etc have not been done in some time). I also think it could be sprayed for bugs as well. Vacasa didn’t communicate we needed to pick up parking tags at their office so after searching for those in the unit we had to go pick those up. The renovations done are cute and the king and queen bed were comfortable. The twin size bunk beds squeaked horribly and the pillows could use replacing. The location is great and the pools were very clean and not over crowded.

Wonderful property and location for us! We enjoyed the beaches, access to the fort, and the nearby nature trails! Condo was well stocked and very clean! Only issue we had was the 10 digit door code sent to us didn’t work - we are grateful to the two local staff members who drove out within 10 minutes of us being unable to resolve on the phone! They were very helpful! Love it and hope to return soon!returnwith

I just needed a quick getaway for Easter with my son. This place was perfect. We will look to stay here again in the future!

This was our second year staying at Southwinds but our first year using Vacasa. The property overall is great and the room was nicely decorated. However, the screen door was off of the track so unusable for the balcony. Everything else was functional so this wasn’t a big deal. The only complaint I have was with the cleanliness. The ceiling fan had visible dust accumulated, there was body hair on the bathroom floors which we had to vacuum, and there was several inches of standing water in the tray under the equipment in the closet. Someone had placed a hand towel in here which was soaked and smelled. Vacasa sent a maintenance person out quickly who sucked up the water and pretty much solved the issue. Overall this wasn’t a huge deal but the place could have been cleaned a little better. We would likely stay here again and use Vacasa again.

This was our first time going to the beach for a full week. We couldn't believe how quickly it went by. This condo was just what we needed. It was very comfortable and close to everything. We would stay here again.

Very cute and cozy beach condo. Very clean. Only issue was there was no parking pass or pool wrist bands left in the condo upon our arrival and we ended up getting a parking violation ticket! There was no one on one communication with to address this issue.
