Beautiful Victorian Unit with Private Patio, BBQ Close to DT, Convention Center

Great location! Close to downtown and Gaslamp District. Nice area to walk. Having a coffee pot in the unit definitely helps. Let’s talk parking…..there is availability directly in front of the property HOWEVER, I strongly suggest parking further up the road. We stopped by to drop off our luggage then drove to Ralph’s down the road. We went back to drop off groceries and unpack. The two times in a row we parked in front within the first two hours of our arrival, we have 4 separate quarter sized “pellet” holes in the windshield. During the 5 night stay, we noticed two other car windshields with the same quarter sized holes. Obviously, this isn’t the fault of the landlord and the reason I selected 4 out of 5 stars.

Wonderful home owner who checked in periodically to make sure we had what we needed to be comfortable. Great location to donwtown and area attractions. All the comforts of home while being away!

Very clean! Everything we need were provided. Exceed my expectation. Definitely will stay here again ( if available) if we ever get back to downtown San Diego!

Quality place

We enjoyed this VRBO. We have stayed at many rentals and this one was among the nicer ones. Very clean, had everything we needed. Extremely close to downtown. A little noisy in the evenings, but not unbearable.

Great value, clean apartment walking distance from Gas Lamp and Petco, which we loved. Parking on street was no problem. Only downside was abundance of trash, tent city and obviously mentally ill people wandering all over Market St morning-noon-nighttime. We took Ubers home after dark.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was quiet and very well kept. It's a medium-long walk to a lot of wonderful sights. John was gracious and responsive throughout our stay. We made several meals on site but we were also close to great dining. I would definitely stay here again.

Great set up although small miscommunication with owners regarding arrival time. Toilet was also broken when I arrived but owner came and fixed it.

Property as advertised, attentive host and staff. So handy to everything San Diego has to offer. Fun living in the Sherman Heights neighborhood, a hidden gem.

Had a nice stay here, location was close to everything we wanted to do. Made a complete thanksgiving dinner for the fam and served outside. We were missing a couple of pot holders, a small mixing bowl and a couple of storage containers but otherwise worked out great. I would stay here again.

The property was perfectly located to walk to the gas-lamp area of San Diego, and a 5 minute drive to Balboa Park and the SD Zoo.

Very comfortable for weekend stay for couple seeing the sights around the city.

This property was very well appointed, with nice furniture and everything needed for cooking, etc. the only problem was the bedroom carpet needed cleaning. When we reported this to the owner he was very responsive and offered to have it cleaned. We decided we did not want to wait for the drying time, so he offered a reduction in the rental fee, which we accepted.
