Beautiful Oceanview 2/2 Condo

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Suzanne & Jeff were great hosts, Lisa was an amazing property manager, the other guests were extremely friendly and the location was fantastic. However, we had the misfortune to arrive just in time for one of the coldest February's in Florida history - there was ice on the beach entrance! So our review is flavored with that in mind. The condo itself is small, which is OK, but it is extremely dated. the bathrooms both are in need of updating. Both toilets are old and need to be replaced, the tub is chipped and stained, the wallpaper is peeling in places. The master bedroom is nice - the king size bed is great although it barely fits in the room. The second bedroom is VERY small with 2 sets of bunk beds. This setup would be fine for families with small children but the stairs and bunk beds do not work well with older guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay (although the weather was a little disappointing) and this condo has great potential with just a little updating and elbow grease. We really enjoyed our stay and, as I said, Suzanne and Jeff are wonderful hosts. But, as people of a certain age, we must be honest and say this condo would work better for younger families.

Everything was perfect for us love the location on the beach, which was quieter. The condo was great and the people stay in there were perfect. Will be back next year for sure.

Great location, just steps to beach

Although this property is older, it has been updated. The location could not be better, right on the beach with a pool. For a couple or a family with smaller children, it is an ideal, affordable spot for NSB.

The location to and views of the ocean and beach area is great. Check-in and the property manager were easy and great. This is a great place to stay and I would recommend it but it is dated and the bathroom showers and tub area really need to be updated. Parking is very close and convenient and the area is very quiet and lovely.

We wanted to be on the south end of New Smyrna Beach close to where my parents had a place when I was younger. This place did not disappoint, and we will come back here if it's available. The beach area is really nice and the pool and pool deck were great too. I would recommend this place.

This unit provides a comfortable and semi secluded stay that is only a few steps from being on the beach. The unit is spacious for a family and offers all the full amenities of home.

This was our 4th year staying at Ocean South and we are never disappointed. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. Our condo, B103, was beautiful and comfortable. Suzanne was easily accessible and responded promptly. We hope to return next year...as long as we can find an opening.

Great condo for families with kids. Ocean/pool view. Friendly community. Grounds are clean and well kept. Condo itself could use a little routine maintenance and the shared upstairs balcony is not very private. Grocery stores within a short distance. Nothing within walking distance, which for us is nice, but others may want better access to shops, etc. Beautiful wide private beach with little traffic. We would definitely stay here again!
