Bear Lake Condo - Sleeps 8

Beds in one room were small and short. Some frying pans should be replaced. Couldn’t figure out how to use gas fireplace that was turned off. Would have been nice to have it work given freezing temperatures outside. Toilet handles need to be fixed so that water turns off after flushing.

Nice area, quiet, close parking.

Stayed here for a company retreat it was great!

We can for some mma fights for our nephew and enjoyed the stay and and condo was nice. Property owner answered all questions in a quick manner. View is beautiful.

This was a great place! The condo was spacious and had everything we needed. There’s a room with a king bed and a bathroom, a room with two full beds plus a twin trundle and a bathroom, and there’s a full bed pull out couch. The grounds are beautiful! The pool is nice and has a great view. Would definitely stay again!

Nice place, enjoyed the pool

Very, very disappointed with this property during our stay. A few of the issues: - Unit was filthy upon arrival, but we followed instructions to clean the unit upon exit and were still charged a cleaning fee - Never had a pool key, but host charged us $50 for a lost key - Fridge and freezer were not clean upon arrival, freezer had several dead bugs inside - Bugs were through-out inside of unit, including in the bedding - Unit advertised that it slept 8, but the couch bed was broken and unusable - Toilet handle was broken and barely able to flush - Toilet was stained and dirty, seat was loose - AC unit did not cool sufficiently - Shower was dirty and did not drain sufficiently so we had to stand in several inches of dirty water while showering - Shower curtain could not prevent water from going on floor, and it was clearly visible that water problems have been an ongoing problem as baseboards were moldy/damaged - Sliding patio door handle was broken and had no actual lock, and was simply locked using a wood stick (this is unacceptable) - Bedroom had dangerous live wires coming out of ceiling, missing smoke/co2 detector - Heavy dust through-out unit but especially around windows - Bedroom had brown substance (not sure what it was, didn’t want to find out) smeared on closet door. WORST experience by far, and host doesn’t take any responsibility despite not personally visiting the unit between guests.

We knew this property was a little dated but expected it to be clean and functional and similar to other Vacation rental experiences. When we arrived the fridge was dirty, the shelves and drawers had spills and needed to be wiped, the appliances were sticky and grimy, the drip plans charred black (which is sad, because it's like $10 to replace those?) The guest toilet was moody about flushing and the towels felt like $ store quality. The soap dispensers in the bathroom and and kitchen were on empty and the showers had these crusty refillable dispensers thad had been discontinued. There were was no laundry soap, even to wash the towels as instructed. Most rentals include some foil, saran wrap, basic kitchen and laundry needs and those were not to be found either. The icing on the cake is the the a/c did not work well. The owner was quick to respond the first time, but still no resolution. We were at the lake in the heat all weekend and just wanted a place to cool down at night. The a/c cycled but didn't cool. We wanted to open the windows as the outside air was cooler, but there are only screens on one window, so the bugs kept coming in, and the one screen had a hole in in it. The area is great, the apartment cute and lots to offer in Harbor Village but sadly I cannot recommend this particular unit until some things change.

This property was very clean and comfy. Plenty of room for us to enjoy our trip. The pool and hot tub were definitely a plus. We love staying at any of the lighthouse properties. They’re all well kept, clean, and enjoyable!

All good, comfortable apartment.
