Sea Colony - Newly renovated condo in the Edgewater building on the 11th floor close to the elevator. Covered parking and elevator access to unit. Overlook the surf and sand from the private balcony of this newly renovated eleventh floor 2-bedroom and 2-bath oceanfront condo! The Edgewater building is Sea Colony's premier building offering a heated indoor pool and hot tub, a fitness facility, a general store, as well as an outdoor pool and baby pool only steps away from a beautiful sandy beach and ocean. Just steps to Sea Colony's half mile of private beach, this one-level resort retreat offers a living and dining area, well-equipped kitchen, full hallway bathroom and two bedrooms, including the master suite. Central air conditioning, washer, dryer and more. Accessible without stairs. There is also a larger fitness center across the street in the tennis community that offers a basketball court, fully equipped weight and cardio equipment area, indoor and outdoor pool, and a gym where fitness classes are offered(for an additional charge). Sea Colony - The Premier Family Beach & Tennis Resort Community - features a half mile of private beach, 12 pools (2 indoor), world class tennis, fitness centers, activities for all ages, community shuttle and year-round security. Sea Colony is ranked among Tennis magazine's Best U.S. Resorts and by Tennis Resorts Online as one of the finest in the world. Please respect the no dog or pet policy. Note: All guest four years or over are required to purchase recreation passes to gain access to the complex, beach and recreational facilities. The cost of the 2023 Weekly Guest Badge Fees are: (Per person, per week, ages 4 and over): $50 during the summer period of 6/10 - 9/15. The badges are $25 outside of the summer season.
The guest badges may be purchased at the Sea Colony Beach Shoppe, located at 33548 Market Place, Unit #4, Bethany Beach, DE 19930. Please note: you must show your rental contract and owner authorization letter when purchasing badges. Badges cannot be purchased without these documents.
Linens and towels are not provided and may be rented for an additional fee. Parking Notes: A covered parking space (number 45) is under the Edgewater Building. The condo can be reached without going outside via the center elevator. Sea Colony Parking Permits are required to park in any space on the property. Guests who are visiting must get a permit from the Sea Colony Beach Shoppe in the Marketplace or from the Security Desk in the Edgewater House Lobby when the Beach Shoppe is closed. Guests are reminded to place their parking permit on their dash when parking in Sea Colony. One parking permit is issued with the purchase of one or two badges. Additional vehicles must be parked off property. Tenants are advised that their vehicles at such properties must not be taller than six feet (including roof-top carriers) so as to fit under buildings. Cars must vacate the Property no later than 10 a.m. on checkout day. Each property has one assigned parking spot. If you have a second vehicle you may park in any unassigned parking space. Please note that unassigned parking spaces (for a second vehicle) are not guaranteed and operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Damage Waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $1,500 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the Rental Agreement on the checkout page.

    What a beautiful condo! We loved everything about our vacation and this updated, beautiful, very well stocked condo with the best views ever made it an over the top awesome getaway. All needed information was provided well in advance, the unit had all the necessities plus so much more in the kitchen, the beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were clean, updated nicely and felt like you were at a spa. Very much appreciate the extra games and beach items. The best part was the beautiful view and the patio to soak it all up. We can’t wait to come back already!

    We had a lovely stay in this beautiful, immaculate unit in the best building at Sea Colony. Convenient to so many things including most of the special events, indoor and outdoor pools, and of course the lovely beach. Unit was well equipped and everything worked great.     John is a terrific host. He has a lovely oceanfront home with all the amenities. The unit is recently renovated and very quiet. The apartment has a full sized washer and dryer, stainless steel appliances, pots, pans, etc. we have rented many different units in Sea Colony. This was my favorite. The only point I took off was for cleanliness. It was not filthy by any means, but the cleaning service did not do a thorough clean before my arrival. Toilets and showers needed sanitizing. Thanks John! I will be back.

    Everything was super easy from the rental process to being in touch with the owners. Everything is new in the unit and it is spacious. We didn’t cook many meals, but if we wanted to, the kitchen was well equipped to do so. The place is well stocked with everything you could need. It is in the best building in the Sea Colony And right on the beach. The unit has one reserved parking space which is key at this location. There are bins in the lobby for you to move stuff from the car to the unit. Wait time for elevators was minimal at least the week we were there. Three really great restaurants less than 5 min walk, as well as a liquor store and pizza place. The center of Bethany is about a 10-15 min walk. The umbrella and chair rental was reasonably priced and people were friendly. There is a deli and snack place in the Edgewater building. Grocery stores are 5-10 min drive. I would absolutely book again at this location and unit. The owners have thought about how to set up the condo and renters have obviously respected the property while staying. The beds are very comfortable too.
