Panoramic beach views steal the show at this large ground-floor 2BR/2BA condo, located at Suntide II Condominiums on South Padre Island. A bonus sleeping nook offers additional sleeping space.

Chic dark wood furnishings and earthy tones bring a stylish, welcoming vibe throughout. A spacious kitchen is great for entertaining, while upgraded bathrooms feature granite counters and beautifully tiled showers.

Local shops and eateries are a short walk from home. Stroll a few blocks to Blackbeard’s for awesome seafood, steaks and sandwiches. Or head four blocks to WannaWanna and enjoy pub fare and frozen cocktails on their beachfront deck.

ABOUT THE CONDO

Curl up for the evening on a leather sectional sofa in the living area, then pick out a movie on the 40” flat screen TV.

Gaze across rolling waves and golden sand from your private patio, with seating for three and views directly overlooking the beach. From here, you’re just steps away from the community pool area, hot tub, and fire pit.

Whip up beach snacks and hearty evening meals in a full kitchen with granite countertops and a bar area seating four. Opposite, there’s seating for six to share sit-down meals around a wooden dining table.

The condo offers sleeping for up to five guests.

Wake each morning to the sight of the Gulf from the inviting master bedroom, featuring a king bed, 37” flat screen TV, and ample storage space. An en-suite bathroom comes with a walk-in shower.

Crisp white linens adorn a king bed in the second bedroom. This room also has a storage closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

A bonus sleeping nook (an additional bedroom with no door) comes with a twin-size bed and white wooden dresser.

Guest amenities include cable TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, and access to a shared coin-operated laundry room. Designated parking for one vehicle is provided, with additional first-come street parking.

As a guest at Suntide II Condominiums, you’ll be treated to private beach access, with the shore just steps away. Forgot your beach towel or need a nap No problem—your condo’s proximity to the beach makes it a breeze to go back and forth.

You’ll also enjoy Suntide II amenities like a heated beachside pool, a hot tub, a sun deck with palapas, a tennis court, beach volleyball, and a truly Texas-sized BBQ area.

For seafood and happy hour specials just down the street, swing by Blackbeard’s, a neighborhood mainstay since 1978. After dinner, head across the street to pick up an ice cream at Dolce Roma. Or stop by WannaWanna (10-minute walk) for pub fare, live music and frozen cocktails on a beachfront deck.

Adventurers can check out South Padre Island Watersports (5-minute drive), where you can rent bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, and more. And Schlitterbahn Waterpark is just a 10-minute drive away.

For quick grocery pick up, you’re just a mile from Blue Marlin Supermarket.

    It was convenient access to the beach but unable to lock back door which has access to the public. WiFi was spotty but you have beach to look at and the swimming pool was right next to us. There was no washer and dryer inside condo, you had to go up an extra floor, other places had inside the condo which was more convenient. Also there was laundry basket to take clothes up but there was laundry soap. In the kitchen you must take your own coffee, coffee filters, spices etc. other places we stayed had at least a coffee basket with coffee, creamer and sugar plus filters. The condo outside looks older but the condo inside was nice, updated, and big. Luckily we live close so I packed essentials but if you are flying down you would have to purchase a lot of things so be prepared.

    Loved the easy access to the beach and pool, just a few steps away from the door. Was able to watch my boys play in the pool while enjoying the beach views from patio. Will definitely book again!!

    Great location! Front extra room was very hot and WiFi wasn’t great but this was just what we needed… canopy’s can not be put up on the beach until 9am or you will get a ticket…

    We had a nice stay. The condo is nice and so close to the beach so its super convenient. They do rent umbrellas and chairs on the beach. I tried to find out so we didnt have to bring any but VRBO or Vacasa couldnt answer the question for me. Over all it was a great stay for me and my kids, we will be back.

    Large, open space condo with great beach access and location to restaurants. Uber for those who don’t like to walk and walking lanes for those that do.

    We've stayed at Suntide II before but this location on the first floor was a nice change with quick access to the pool & beach! It’s rare to find a place with 2 kings and cute Nook with a twin bed for a child. We’ll be back!

    Room 106 at suntide was overall very comfortable. The interior was well upkept , with nice beds and very nice bathrooms. The kitchen had the essentials , pots and pans. It was nice to have easy access to the pool/walkway to the beach . The only negative thing I can say is there was no towel service , so we had to reuse the towels the whole week . The blankets/cover on the beds were too thin for our liking . We like to keep the room kinda cold at night but we were shivering because the cover was very thin. We even went out to try to buy a heavier blanket on the island .

    We have been staying at Suntide II for over 15 years. This year they made some improvements in the bathrroom, livingroom, dinning room and outside furniture. Love the location. Just wish they would consider adding a second vehicle pass.
