Beachfront Condo With Resort Pool, Balcony + Ocean Views

Beach view was fabulous!

We have stayed at other condos within the Sand dollar property and this one was really lacking. There were no curtains/blinds in the living room, several of the lights did not work, light switches in rooms did not control any lights, and the major one is that there were SHEER curtains in the master bedroom, so when the sun came up, YOU ARE GOING TO be awoken, whether you wanted to or not. Plus, with the sheer curtains, there was NO PRIVACY from the beach or balcony. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

The location and views were great! Beautiful clean beaches. Saw dolphins from our patio multiple mornings. Sunrises on the ocean side and sunsets on the bay side. Quiet area, beach traffic wasn’t overly crowded. Had some issues with the rental unit itself. Reporting issues was easy and they followed up on progress. Darkening blinds were broken upon arrival. Maintenance was unable to fix so once we got them opened, they stayed open. Dishes were dirty in the cupboards and oily fingerprints throughout. Master bedroom sliding screen wouldn’t close. Small ants in the kitchen. Recommend the rental owner be proactive on the property. We paid too much to have these issues.

Unit was dated and shower drain was clogged with other peoples hair we were able to plunge it out but was not fun pulling other people’s hair out of the drain. View was nice but they had workers doing water proofing with scaffolding ropes out side our 4th floor room balcony. We also had ants in both bathrooms. Bedroom sheets were clean but had musty smell.

We had an excellent stay.

The location is just what we wanted, quiet and plenty of space on the beach. This beach should not make you feel crowded. The condo has plenty of space. Master bedroom is big and the living room is nice as well. The beds are comfortable, probably have been replaced. There are two coffee makers in the room, a standard filter maker and a Keurig as well. Things that could improve, lighting someone should go through the condo and turn the lights on, there is more than one light and or outlet that doesn’t work. The bath room fan, the fan made a loud noise from time to time. We did not report the fan as it didn’t do it consistently. Overall we are happy with the condo.

Very spacious and plenty of towels. The king bed was uncomfortable and the queen bed was a hot mess. Only one bed seemed to be a new mattress and was comfortable. One big problem was the kitchen had those tiny pink ants. As many times that I cleaned with 409 cleaner they were back the next day. Told someone at VTrip that they needed an exterminater when I called when we were leaving. This is a problem in other units that I rented when they do not use a bug service. We love the place and everything else was great. Would rent this again.

The condo was exactly as described on VRBO. Walking into the condo we were drawn to the view of the ocean through the huge windows. The furnishings were lovely at first glance but the bed in bedroom on the right was like a rock. Extremely uncomfortable. The TV in the bedroom to the left didnt work. Ceiling fans and overhead lights would been great as would extra blankets. More hangers, ice cube trays, cookie sheet and dish towels needed. Also, all outside doors were hard to open and close and were very loud. The Keurig coffee maker was loud enough to wake the neighbors and a couple times there was water in the dryer. Yes, there were a few inconveniences but we had a great time.
