Superb! Central convenient location -only 20 minutes max drive from airport. Stunning views from the balcony offering unusual BOTH ocean view and valley and mountain view. Beach was not really swimmable ( was grey and murky water in October, maybe it’s different during other time of the year) and definitely not for snorkeling. However, very easy and short drive to the best swimming and snorkeling spots. Dina’s Sandwich (hot meal and drinks) open till 10pm, located practically on the “ground floor “ and meal “take out” time always took only 10 minutes max. This convenience alone should add a star. Kitchen was fully equipped but I chose to only cook eggs in the morning and then was gone exploring until late evening. The condo was very clean, welcoming and cozy. It had absolutely everything you would ever need from laundry to beach chairs. This complex is basically a retirement community - everyone seems to be 70+. So for once, no screaming kids and drunk teenagers at the pool or hot tub; peace and quiet! Host is a great communicator and super quick in responses. Would stay again. Highly recommend!

Fantastic spot. Nothing but positive to say with this stay. Host had everything and more we could’ve needed. Home was sparking clean and the view was Beautiful! The crowd at pool and hottub were all pleasant to be around. We especially enjoyed walking the beach at night which was a 30 second walk from the condo.

My first time at Sugar Beach. I liked the intimate surroundings, very friendly fellow guests, comfortable, everything you need, spotless condo.

Love the property. The kitchen was fully loaded, with knives that can cut your pineapple. If you like a low key place with a pool and beach right outside, this is your place. Pool always has spots to sit down, never had an issue in 3 years at this complex.

Place was great with an amazing view over looking the pool and ocean. Location was perfect not too far from other beaches. We enjoyed our stay there. Only thing is it’s a bit windier than the other beaches.

The ocean view is even better than you see in pictures! It was just my husband and myself and it was the perfect location and condo for us. Super clean when we arrived! We enjoyed breakfast on the lanai every morning listening to the waves crash against the shore. We love it’s right on one of the best beaches. Communication with Megan was super easy! We will definitely stay again when we come back!

Generally great, place was being power washed and painted on the exterior, made for a noisier environment than I am sure exists otherwise. Condo was thoughtfully equipped with essential items and with additional beach stuff helpful. good location and great pool facility. Thanks for the opportunity to share your beach space. I can’t say enough about how amazing our stay at SB 504 was. Megan was an absolutely amazing host. This was our first trip to Maui, and it was perfect. Easy navigating Kihei from the location if you are wanting to explore. Megan also provided a great list of places to check out while we were in town. We would definitely stay again.

The condo had everything we needed to make our stay great. I appreciated all the cookware and appliances. The bed was super comfortable and we slept well. We also had a great view. This was the perfect location for visiting Maui for the first; it is central enough to explore many areas.

This condo is amazing! Well equipped with many things you would need during your stay. Very clean with a comfy bed. Great ocean view from deck. Sunrise view outside front door over Haleakala. Perfect location to start your day in any direction. Very much enjoyed our stay! Mahalo to our host Megan.

This was the absolute perfect place to stay in Maui! Super convenient where it’s located, super close to the resorts for dinner and easy access to the beach! 10/10 would recommend staying here:)

Booked this for my mom. She says:My best friend and I came to Maui to celebrate our birthdays together. We stayed in this condo at the Sugar Beach Resort and it was absolutely perfect! It’s a beautiful condo, very clean and had everything that we could possibly need or want. There was a basket of fresh fruit on the dining table along with a welcome note! The bathroom had a cabinet with clean towels and washcloths, soap, shampoo and conditioner, sunscreen, aloe, and an assortment of several other items that might be needed. There was an empty dresser to put our clothes in, and a closet with lots of hangers. Also, in the closet were two sand chairs, two large backpacks, and four boogie boards. The bed was very comfortable.The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking. There was even a cabinet full of containers for leftovers. They put a few different beverages in the refrigerator, which was very much appreciated. The balcony had a table with chairs and a clothes rack with clothespins for hanging wet bathing suits. The view was amazing, and we saw many beautiful sunsets. We spent several hours talking, looking at the view, and listening to the ocean. The resort was beautiful and well taken care of. The location seemed perfect; close to many restaurants, shops, and other beaches.We highly recommend this condo and Sugar Beach Resort. We had the best place to stay and an incredible week in Maui. I will definitely stay here again

We (mom, dad and a grown up daughter) spent 5 wonderful nights at this resort. Megan, the owner, is very detailed oriented. We received a pre-welcome package before our trip that is resourceful especially about the places we should visit, where to rent snorkel gear… The apartment is thoughtfully decorated and equipped with plenty cable outlets for smart devices which made our iPhone charging a breeze. Kitchen is all well stocked with kitchen gadgets, seasonings …Plenty of towels to use. Two beach chairs, two back packs and an igloo are very useful. We highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to spend their time in Maui. It’s like your home in a paradise.

We had such an amazing stay here for our Babymoon! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy all the beautiful beaches and attractions nearby. The location was super central and easy to get to surrounding areas quickly. We plan on staying here again and would 100% recommend!

This Condo is exactly as pictured. It was very clean & roomy. The view is so spectacular, we miss it already.Megan was awesome to deal with, providing excellent information & welcome packages. Literally the best we have ever had. I had a few questions before we arrived & Megan was quick to reply. We had no issues during our 2 week stay. The location is very quiet and easy to get to from the airport, even in the dark (15-20 mins) It is central making it easy to head north to Lahaina/Kaanapali, Kihei, Wailea and over to Paia. The lanai is large with 4 chairs, table & drying rack.Kitchen is fully equipped with like new dishes, utensils & Cookware. BBQ's are down by the pool area.The pool was large with plenty of chairs & chairs on the grass to enjoy the beach / ocean views. The beach is walkable each direction.Central A/C was excellent as many do not have this.The Bedroom was large with a comfy king bed. The bathroom included full size shampoo, conditioner & lotion. There was also bottles of reef safe sunscreen.The condo has a good selection of books to enjoy, maui books and binoculars.Charging ports were conveniently located on each night stand and the living room.The elevators were quick, we never had to wait. A trash chute is located by the elevators.There is a sandwich / bar on site. A short 10 minute walk down the beach to the ABC store, best shaved ice, bakery & small farmers market.We had zero issues with bugs. We would highly recommend this condo!

Clean, good commination before we arrived so we would know what to expect, quality of furnishings, they had everything you would need.

We'd never been to Maui (just Oahu and Bog Island). The condo was idyllic with amazing views, surf sounds, and very quiet except a little highway noise. All patrons were respectful, took care of their kids, followed the rules and were friendly. The condo itself was SUPER clean and very well equipped with cookware, so we actually enjoyed eating in more than we had planned. The host was SUPER helpful with 20 pages of tips (which we newcomersnanticipated). Everything was slick from top to bottom. They even let you use their boogie boards, outdoor chairs, blankets, coolers etc. this is their private vacation home so you want to treat it like their friends/guests. We will definitely be back!

5th floor overlooking the beach and pool. Nice central location. Older property that is well maintained. The owner is very responsive and excellent at communication. The bedroom of the condo is along a road, so there is some noise. Very well stocked kitchen for those who like to prepare meals in.

The condo was just as described. It had all the kitchen and water items you would need. The sunsets on the patio were really beautiful. Bed was comfortable. The beach is walkable, not swimmable. Good pool and hot tub. BBQ's were great. Good stay at a good price.

Property is really nice, right on the water. Grounds were neat and clean and condo is perfect for 2-4 people who want to explore Maui. Condo had everything and more you'd want for a comfortable stay. Would stay again for sure.

We loved our stay at sugar beach resort! The condo was very comfortable and views fantastic! It was centrally located to the Ka’anapali and Wailea areas which made exploring different parts of Maui much easier. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was exactly or better than expected. The location, condo, pool, parking and hot tub were all perfect. The management had good communication and was very responsive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat

Great sunset views, easy access to the beach. There’s a bar on site (though you can’t bring drinks outside the bar itself). Easy drive to the bars and restaurants in Kihei.

Loved the location! Beautiful views of the ocean was a Plus! Condo was nice with plenty of room for two people. Owner provided lots of info on places to go and other information to have a great vacation without the stress.

Condo was very clean and inviting. View was amazing. Beautiful sunsets every night from the lanai. Master bed was extremely comfy and items in the kitchen were excellent quality and variety. All of the power strips and extra charging stations were very helpful. Host has thought of everything to make your stay welcoming and convenient. Would definitely stay here again. ❤️

Very clean and the unit had everything we needed: well stocked kitchen including condiments. Lots of bath towels, full size shampoo and conditioner, sunscreen, coolers, beach towels, etc. Comfortable bed and furniture, nicely decorated. The pool is small for the size of the complex, but it was never over-crowded. However, the hot tub was usually full of people. The only negative is that there is little space for luggage. If the rattan shelf unit in the bedroom was moved to the dining area that would leave some space for luggage in the bedroom.

We took a quick trip to Maui and really enjoyed our stay here, the unit very clean, nice update features and relaxing decor!!! Love the views from the unit. Host was great and provided detailed insights of things todo. Building outaide halls needs some

Very friendly owner, very clean, very well equipped kitchen! The only thing which is bothering a bit is the noise you hear from the traffic/street next to it.

Sugar Beach resort is a well maintained, quiet property. I love that you can sit in lounge chairs right at the edge of the ocean. The property is within walking distance to several businesses like a bakery and a shave ice place. I loved walking on the beach every morning. You will see incredible sunsets right from your lanai! The owners of unit 504 have an immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable unit. They went above and beyond to provide everything that you could possibly need for your stay. The only “negative” I can think of is that the ice maker wasn’t working but they provided ice cube trays. This wasn’t a big deal for me and you can always buy a bag of ice. I have family that live on Maui so I visit often and I would most definitely return to this unit.

Very clean. Host & property mgr had great communication. Key code made the check-in process very easy. Lots of free parking (you have to get your parking pass from the resort office). The property is on North Kihei Rd, which is much less crowded than South Kihei Rd, so it's easier to make a left turn out of Sugar Beach Resort. This unit comes with lots of amenities like: laundry detergent pods, dishwasher pods, dishsoap, dish sponge, extra beach & bath towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, sunscreen, clothes-drying rack w/ clothespins, extra sheets & blankets, cleaning supplies, full-size shampoo conditioner & body wash, tissues, paper towels, toilet paper, & a filtered water pitcher so you don't have to buy heavy cases of water bottles. The only thing I needed to buy was lotion. There's lots of charging ports in convenient, easy-to-access places. There's lots of table space to put your things down. The resort even had shopping carts to help you carry all your groceries/bags up to your unit. Loved staying here!

Firstly, the owner is an incredible person. She made us feel so at home and wanted to make sure we were comfortable and that all of our needs were met. It’s refreshing to communicate with the owner so personally in comparison to going through an agency. The unit has everything that you need when visiting the island and staying at a vacation rental. Sugar beach is beautiful and there is a welcome aura to the property and community there. We would definitely stay at the unit again in the future, not only because the owner is so amazing to work with but also the overall experience with staying at the condo was satisfying.

Sugar Beach Resort was the perfect central location for our trip. Close to amenities, beach is beautiful for walking, and winds keep you cool during the day. Unit was clean, communication from Megan was excellent and everything was as expected. Condo is thoughtfully stocked and everything we could think of was there. Only issue was the resort hot tub was very lukewarm. Not the owner’s fault though!! We would recommend to anyone.

The condo has everything you need. We appreciated the variety of kitchen appliances/pots/utensils to use. The provided beach equipment made visiting the local beaches easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend brining along a copy of the guide provided by the owner. So many good ideas and tips to enjoy the area like a local. Great location to all parts of the island. We couldn’t have found a better value for our money.

Everything was amazing! The place was great, so clean and just so beautiful and relaxing with the beach right there. Super spacious and the kitchen was so well-eqipped, I used it a ton and we ate on the balcony every morning before going for a swim. A great value - I would highly recommend!
