Boasting a shared hot tub, room for up to eight guests, a shared pool, and tons of resort amenities, this is a vacation home that puts you right in the middle of the action. As one of the newest properties in the area, this townhome welcomes you with free WiFi to plan your next adventure and a private washer/dryer takes care of the laundry. Book an appointment at the full-service on-site spa, then unwind poolside. You can hit the gym and then soak your muscles in the shared hot tub, before whipping up a quick dish in the full kitchen. With access to a game room and a movie theater, your options for fun are endless. Treat yourself to a getaway filled with beachside moments, indulgent relaxation, and of course, sweeping ocean views when you book your stay at this South Padre Island gem.

Here, you'll be near the beach with easy access to local attractions. With a location just south of the Queen Isabella Causeway, seeing the sites won't be a hassle.

Things to Know
Upon arrival, Guests who made the reservation must present a valid ID at the front desk. They must be accompanied by only members of their immediate family. For purposes of renting during these times, “family” is defined to include only members within the first degree of consanguinity or affinity (e.g., parents, grandparents (including in-laws), and children). (Cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, or nieces are NOT considered immediate family.) No two families can share one condo. The front desk will NOT allow check-in if the renters do not meet these requirements.
GUESTS: No guests are permitted to Renters. Primary guests must be at least 25 years old year-round. Wristbands are required to be worn at all times. A resort Fee of $15/day will be charged to renters, fees are capped at $150 per 30-day period.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

    We enjoyed staying at this property. The bungalow had excellent access to the beach and pool. The main living area is very nice, as is the master bedroom. However, the listing indicates this is a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath property. Any reasonable person would expect each bedroom to have its own bathroom, with an additional powder bathroom. In reality, you walk in the property on the first floor. On that level, there are two bedrooms and one full bathroom which is shared by the two bedrooms on the first floor. You walk upstairs to the second level, which consists of the living area, kitchen, a dining room, and a half bathroom. You walk up another flight of stairs to access the master bedroom. Walking through the master bedroom, there is a type of his and hers set of bathrooms. So while I guess you could say there are technically two bathrooms (either full or 3/4 baths) on the third level, they are only accessible by walking through the master bedroom. I believe a more accurate way to list this property would be to list it as a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath listing, and then provide further information in the description about the master bathroom situation being extra spacious. My 3 star rating for this property is primarily based on what I feel was a misleading description of the bathroom situation. Overall, the property was in good condition. We enjoyed the location and the private hot tub. The tankless water heater worked well. Nitpicks: I will note the downstairs bathroom sink did not drain and needs attention. Also, it would be nice if the downstairs bedroom closet had some hangers you could use to hang up some shirts, and the downstairs bedroom sheets need to be upgraded. They were very scratchy. The downstairs bed was rickety and the mattress was marginal at best.

    Bungalow had a great hot tub with powerful jets. Spa and game rooms were a hit. I would highly recommend this place to families!

    Has it all as far as space needs and quick access to beach and pool and private hot tub steps from bottom floor. Inside is super cool and you feel like a multi-millionaire in such a cool pad, BUT this cool pad needs deep clean, paint, and water damage repair. Wasn’t super clean - trash on balcony, counter tops sticky and dirty, walls have drippy stains. When they tell you they provide nothing, believe it. No coffee, no drinking water, no laundry pods, NADA. Order groceries! Pool has zero food, drinks, or service of any kind so plan to pack a cooler. All this being said, it’s super hard to complain about such a beautiful location and layout. I enjoyed the hot tub, beach walks, and almost empty pool in October.

    We loved the location of this bungalow. The proximity to the pool and beach were amazing and it's wonderful to have a garage! The condo was well equipped with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The master bed was uncomfortable (we slept on the couch) and there were no beach towels or other basics like salt and pepper and coffee filters. We bought the latter after we arrived.

    Property was beautiful and great access to pool and beach. There are A LOT of stairs, so just be considerate of that. Some of the people in our group were exhausted from the stairs by the end of the trip. Kitchen is not very well stocked, so make sure if there is anything you need, you bring it yourself (pans, utensils, even down to salt and pepper). Other than that it was a great property!

    We love the Sapphire and the poolside bungalows. This unit was more affordable than the others but it did come with some drawbacks. It could have stood to be cleaned better. I’ll leave it at that. It does need some maintenance done, such as the kitchen and upstairs tub faucets replaced but all and all it’s a great room for being poolside.

    My family (kids and sister and cousins) stayed at Sapphire Bungalow 106 during August 2020. Was stress free, I was a bit worried as others complained about the resort being a jail however no such thing. Customer service at checkin desk, to grounds people and security staff were all pleasant. This property by far was one of the most tastefully decorated and in the perfect location, in the middle of the pools. Just step out patio and right into the luxury pool. Full view of the entire pool and out to the beach. It also provided EVERY cooking/baking/beverage products needed. Indoor parking for 1 vehicle so if you don’t want to struggle to find parking or interact with others the bungalow is the way to go. My only complaint would be the amount of stairs (master on top floor, living/dining/kitchen on second and 2 rooms on ground floor). Also wish there was an umbrella or covering by the 2nd or ground floor patio. We are definitely looking forward to staying at Bungalow 106 again!
