Beachfront Complex - 2b 2b - Beach Place #504

The location was really the only good part. The condo is very outdated. The beds are uncomfortable and you can hear the springs in the mattress every time you move. The couch had dirty socks from previous tenants under it. The dishes are very old and were dirty in the drawer. The code to the elevator obviously needs to be changed. The first night there we had some punk teen kids that rip around the parking lot come up the elevator and open our door to the condo. Clearly they were in the wrong place and were greeted by my husband who is 6’4” quickly! They weren’t staying there, they are locals and romp through the parking lot several times a night. Location is good but street traffic is loud. We won’t be staying there again.

It seems that every time you call you get a different person and you get different info from each one of them. Other than that the service is good. Beach Place is very noisy too...close to the road and noisy. The condo needs some upgrades too...for what these owners get for rent they should spend a little money once in a while and replace some tile, caulk etc.

Reviewer Comments: To be honest the whole condo needs to be refurbished with new kitchen, two new bathrooms, floors, and doors, I feel the price for what you get is certainly not value for money, I normally stay at surf song condos and I feel some of them are the same but they have started to update some of them, I have been coming to Madeira beach since 1985 but we are thinking of starting to look for other places to rent as we feel we are not getting value for our money which is a shame because it is a friendly and beautiful place to holiday maybe you think I am being a bit harsh but that is how I see it sorry.

We enjoy this property every time we visitThis was our 4th visit to the property, and 2nd stay in this specific condo. It was perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. It was clean, it's as it appears in the photos, conveniently located, and so has a wonderful view. We had no major issues during our stay. The garbage disposal did have tape over the switch, so we assumed it did not work. There used to be random beach items that guests could use, in the closet, which I know are not guaranteed as part of our stay, but all those items have been cleared out of this unit, so plan on purchasing new or borrowing chairs, umbrellas, toys etc. from the shared box located on the beach(if they're available). Also the condo was supposed to have a laundry basket, but it didn't, so I just used my own bag or carried my folded things. None of these things were a major issue, just things I remembered having in the past. Overall our stay was great again this year!

Did not look like the photos, we were locked out and received the wrong internet information. Disappointing. However, will try and different condo next spring.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit seemed like it hasn't been updated since 1981 when it was built. Needs updated everywhere. Other units we visited were much much nicer. The grossest part was the black mold filled handle in the shower. There were countless other opportunities for improvement.
