Beach-view, high-rise condo with pool - central location

We had an amazing time. This condo was very clean with an amazing view. I will definitely book this again. It is in walking distance of so many places for restaurants and entertainment. You can actually see Pier Park from the front door.

Loved the room

The condo is wonderful, well kept and has great ammenities. The building elevators are slow, and a bottle-neck for the volume of guests at calypso. If you can go between sept and may, you'll love it. Be prepared for heavy traffic and crowds during the summer weeks.

Overall unit was good however it could use some updating. Television was non operational in 2nd bedroom; change water filter, broken drawers

This is an inside corner unit between each tower. Which allows noise to carry. Balcony not very private. Unit is actually really nice and centrally located. Would I stay there again, no. The unit needs to be updated with some electronic stuff and they don't need the VCR Players. TV's are nice and you have access to some streaming services if you have those accounts to sign into; however, they set deep in the cabinet so you can't pull them out if you want to watch movies or cook/watch TV. They need to add flat round sheet pans for cookies, biscuits....in the kitchen. We had to ask for wash clothes for the kitchen (which we where given two) There are no pot holders. Those where requested and we did not receive any so we had to use bathroom hand towels to remove things from the oven. Master bathroom tub doesn't work. Advised management and issue not resolved, but noted. Also about two stools that actually were chairs that the cast iron backs had been broken off and they tried to use them as stools. The problem is the cast iron sticks out and will cut your legs if unaware. Management said they were aware, but couldn't do anything about it because of protocol. All these things are easy fixes. I am not meaning this review to be bad, just making other renters/owner aware of some small fixes that will make people come back. One major plus was that there are chairs and such in the unit you can take to the beach. That was a great surprise! On site management was GREAT!
