Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This one bedroom condo is very cozy. Has all the basics you need with a great ocean view. Great location within walking distance of a lot of things. Johns Pass a lot of places to have fun. Would stay here again! Online check in was fast and easy.

Great stay, couple things; a roll of paper towels for kitchen would be nice, fan in bathroom is very loud and shower is draining slowly.

This is a great location near Johns Pass. Convenient parking, access to the beach, & nice pool. However, the bed was terrible. I don’t know if we would stay again due to this.

Reviewer Comments: The property ( building and grounds) were in good condition for the very short time after the hurricane. The room itself in general was ok, but could use a good deep cleaning. Not just a quick sweep and mop cleaning between guest.

We did however enjoy the 4 days we were here and will be back next year. Hopefully we will get a credit for the 3 days we missed.

The pool was nice and the beach was even better. We were in walking distance of Johns Pass and had spectacular sun set views every night. Highly recommend staying here.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Surf Song for a years. The location and check-in process is perfect. However, the property is severely declining. The carpets on each floor are terribly stained, the paint is peeling off the trim, door frames and discolored on the walls. The ACs are struggling and the stoves are shot. We were unable to use the pool for 2 days as the water was milky, the cords from pool lights were hanging in the water and there were bugs lining the walls. I understand these are rentals and it's hard to keep things pristine with high turn over, but it does not make guests feel worthy or of value. It was truly disheartening because we love Surf Song, we rent 4 condos with all of our family each year and this year was tough!
