Beach and Racquet B311 is a third (top) floor beachfront condo at the Savannah Beach and Racquet Club on the quiet North end of Tybee Island. Enjoy unobstructed views of the bay, ships, shrimp boats and dolphins from your private furnished balcony. The condo underwent updates in April 2015 and will offer guests an overall wonderful experience for their stay. New laminate wood flooring, paint throughout, as well has updated furnishings and decor. This is a great location just a short stroll down to the community pool and beach access! Parking for this condo is unreserved for 1 vehicle only. You will receive a parking pass at check-in.

This property has an updated partial kitchen and a breakfast bar seating two. The kitchen features an under counter fridge, convection toaster oven, covered electric skillet, hot water kettle, Keurig, and standard coffee maker. There is no oven, stove-top or dishwasher, however, we have taken great care that everything is set-up to accommodate guests. There is a Queen bed and TV in the bedroom, 1 built-in hallway bunk for a child and a sleeper sofa in the living area. There is also a 42in flat-screen TV in the living area. This condo will sleep up to 4 comfortably. This condo offers in-unit high-speed wireless internet for your convenience. Handicap friendly (elevator, not ADA compliant).

About the Savannah Beach and Racquet Club Located on the quiet North end of Tybee Island directly on the bay where the Savannah River meets the Atlantic Ocean. There is a beach, but no real wave action. Watch the dolphins play and the ships come to port. The condo complex features private beach access, 14`x20` pool and 10x10` kiddie pool, tennis courts, private parking, gated complex, WIFI access at the pool and Beach and Racquet office, and community coin-operated washer(s)/dryer(s) in each building.

POOLS: Pools are currently open daily from Noon to 2:45 pm and 3:15-6 pm, with limited occupancy. (subject to change, based on HOA Guidelines).

    Enjoyed the stay, with a few small exceptions. The view from our balcony is greatly blocked by tall trees, which wasn’t great, but still overall a gorgeous view.

    This unit is sweet. The view from the balcony is super nice! It stays shaded and a little more cool for most of the day. The kitchen is nicely equipped with a range and full refrigerator. The pro and con is that you are actually located on the bay and not the beach. This provides much opportunity to watch dolphins and less crowds. Overall a sweet place to stay if you dont want to be in the heart of Tybee. I do think it would be helpful if the parking pass and information was left in the room and you didn't have to stop by an office. Also, the door to the deck and the entrance door need to be sealed so the unit doesn't feel damp all the time.

    Better directions to the office for the check-in packet and a phone number would have cured our issues. When we arrived the GPS took us to three different places for the same address as was in the confirmation email. There was no phone number to call on the email or in the web site. Luckily we had the entry code for the unit and there was a sign in the window with a phone number but by that time it was just barely after 5pm and the office was closed so I left a message. Then I called back and made the phone selection for owners and connected to a person in the emergency after hours system. She gave us good directions with Google Earth photos to the office to get our check-in packet that included the gate pass and parking pass. The next morning I received a text message checking on our progress. After that, the communication was good. The view from the balcony (3rd floor) was great and we were able to watch the dolphins, fishing boats and ships going and coming from the Savannah Port. Kitchen was well equipped but the range shows signs of abuse and we did not have an opportunity to try it. Nice bathroom with a relatively new shower (bathroom floor could use a better scrubbing). The location for us was perfect - away from the hubbub of the party area of town. A 3 mile long and flat island is no problem getting anywhere on bicycles. We enjoyed our stay and would consider renting this one again.

    Views as promised on the website. Property manager was very responsive to text messages and check in went smoothly , even though we got there past 9pm. Condo was as expected from the pictures, clean and everything functioned as advertised except Xfinity... The property manager did help out by installing a loaner wireless internet box, (took a minute to figure out we were supposed to use it vice the Xfiniti setup) Definitely would have made watching TV dicey, but we didnt go to the beach to watch TV anyway, no loss. No issues with the couch as others noted, but one side of the bed has a very creaky box spring - wouldn't hurt to change that thing out for a more comfortable and quiet stay. Creaky bed is why i put 4 stars overall. Very clean, especially for an older beach front condo. Well done and modern kitchen and bath remodel. We tried to find a way to take the shower home with us, but figured we might get charged extra : ) Linens were clean and plentiful as were other necessities (didnt have to make a late night run to CVS for TP like our last BnB in downtown Savannah a few years ago) Nighborhood was very quiet and all the neighbors seemed pleasent and parking was adequate. The condo itself is well insulated from the adjoining units, so we didnt notice any noise from the two adjoining walls. We were in building B and the elevator did work, wish we had found it sooner than our last day. To all concerned. We had a geat Thanksgiving vacation on the beach!

    We truly enjoyed our stay on Tybee Island. This place was amazing. It was wonderful to sit out on the balcony with our morning coffee and watch the birds. Highly recommend.

    This condo was in a great location, and clean. Owners definitely need to invest in a better mattress and couch. When you sit on the couch you feel as though you sink to the floor. The mattress squeaks horribly on one side, and is very uncomfortable. It left my husband and myself with a sore back, and me with a sore hip for the entire trip. I would rent again in a heartbeat if it weren't for these 2 things.

    We wanted something outside of Savannah and beachfront and this fit the bill. There were dolphins daily that you could watch from the balcony. Had some good meals at local restaurants and enjoyed the quiet this place offered. The only negative was the bathroom needs to be updated. It was clean but definitely past its prime. The condo had everything we could need.

    Apartment although small, worked out fine. There were few extras just a salt and pepper shaker, dishsoap, papertowels No napkins, no coffee filters, etc. Great views from porch of the water.
