Stayed Mar 13, 2026The property location was extremely difficult to find without specific directions from host. Also the vrbo app directed us to a totally different, incorrect location. The CORRECT directions were sent by host while we were travelling and only 2 hours before we were to arrive. With no access to mobile service we spent 3 hours chasing our tails to find it. I complained to VRBO and sent them documentary evidence a bout the app misleading us and am awaiting a call back to discuss

Stayed Apr 7, 2026We mostly enjoyed our stay. Thanks for the wine and water. There was no soap in the tub/shower. Also, there was not a top sheet on the bed. Odd.

Stayed Mar 25, 2026Would love to review the apartment itself… but unfortunately, we never even got the chance to step foot in it.We booked through VRBO over two months in advance with instant confirmation - you know, the kind that usually implies your accommodation actually exists for you when you arrive. Not a single word from the host the entire time. After multiple messages and calls chasing them down, they finally decided to respond… a casual 10 minutes before check-in to tell us they couldn’t honour the reservation. Yes, the same reservation they happily confirmed two months earlier. The excuse? Supposedly a “VRBO glitch” and a sudden claim that they only accept a 4-night minimum. Interesting, considering both their VRBO and Expedia listings still allow single-night bookings, and other reviews mention shorter stays. So, make of that what you will.At best, it seems like they’re juggling too many platforms and double-booking. At worst… well. What really stood out was the complete lack of accountability. No apology, no urgency, no attempt to help, just a shrug and a “take it up with VRBO,” while we were left scrambling for a place to stay last-minute in a foreign country.I’m sure the apartment might be lovely. Sadly, their hosting isn’t.
