Welcome to Chambless Riviera Villa, a beautifully positioned 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo overlooking Sail Bay in Pacific Beach. Enjoy breathtaking 180° panoramic bay views through floor-to-ceiling windows and from your private balcony — the perfect spot for morning coffee or sunset watching.

Located on the quieter east side of Sail Bay, this home offers a peaceful waterfront setting while still being minutes from Mission Beach, downtown San Diego, and top attractions.

The bright living area features expansive windows, a cozy gas fireplace, and balcony access with seating and an electric grill. The fully equipped kitchen includes granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and everything needed for dining in.

Crown Point/Mission Bay

• Booking Process: After booking, you must complete our electronic rental agreement and an identity verification to access your guest portal. Check-in details, including a custom door code and property information, are available in the portal after all requirements are completed.
• Seasonal Policies: We have minimum stay requirements that vary by season.
Summer (Memorial Day–Labor Day): 5 night minimum, no arrivals on July 4th (Independence Day)
Holidays: 5-night minimum. A single reservation cannot span both Christmas and New Year's unless it is 14+ nights. No arrivals/departures on Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day.
• Check-In/Out: Check-in is 3 p.m. (4 p.m. in summer). Check-out is 11 a.m.
• Group Travel: We manage multiple units in this building. Please inquire if you need more space for a larger family or group.
• Property Note: This is a privately owned vacation home. Furnishings and decor may occasionally be updated and differ slightly from the photos.
• Pet Policy: Pets are NOT permitted.
• Rate Policy: Rates fluctuate daily. Pricing at the time of booking is the confirmed rate.
• Age Policy: We typically do not rent to guests under 25 or to large groups. Please contact us prior to booking if your group requires an exception.
• Climate Control: The condo does not have central A/C. It is equipped with electric wall heaters for cooler evenings and enjoys a wonderful ocean breeze. Portable a/c units are available to rent at an additional cost. Please contact us to reserve.
• Laundry: Coin-operated laundry machines are conveniently located down the hall from the unit for your use.
• Beach Gear Provided: We provide a variety of beach accessories, including beach chairs, a beach umbrella, boogie boards, and bikes!
• Starter Kit: We provide a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and detergents. All linens, bath towels, and beach towels are also included.
• Traveling with Children: Baby equipment, including a pack ‘n play, high chair, and crib, is available to rent at an additional cost for your convenience. Please inquire for details.

We recommend a car for navigating San Diego, but public transportation is just a couple blocks away. If you`re planning to stay put in Pacific Beach, there is no need for cars! Just ride our provided bikes or walk the neighborhood.

    We had a great stay, and sitting here on the tarmac on the way out, my partner says I don't want to leave - I think that sums it up!Only small hiccup was challenges with keys and key-fobs but it was all quickly sorted out.Very well equipped, chairs can be pulled in front of sliding door to sit and enjoy morning coffee, a good book or all those playing beach volley ball down on the beach right in front.

    We loved our stay! We chose this location based on the proximity of our son and his family! But, the perfect location was just one piece of how perfect our time was! The unit was so well stocked with everything we needed and more! The view was beautiful, with gorgeous sunsets every evening and light-filled all day! We will definitely be returning!

    This listing is done through a 3rd party, property management company. Since it is rented via by a 3rd party it made payment and check in a little more of a process. Communication with the owner is outsourced and limited to certain hours. We were offered an additional night at a discount via auto-text, however when we inquired we were told we would inquire an additional fee for credit card charge, add in taxes and it was not much less than 1 regular night's stay fee. I would not recommend staying longer than the reservation time. The coin operated laundry machine dryer took my coins without operating, when I inquired management about it I was told to listen for the coin bank to be full or the machines won't run, or to use the app. The app was much simpler to use, it is management's responsiblity to empty the the coin boxes for residents/guests. The bicycles that were avaliable for use had a flat tire, when I inquired about the tire I was told it was repaired and we went to ride, it was flat again. The view was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, the Murphy bed was great. The couch bed was not as comfortable. The location was great. Had this been rented directly from VRBO, communication with the owners more direct, not via 3rd party we would consider renting again. However overall the stay was lovely and our family left with a lifetime of memories.

    Love the view of the bay! Great location for paddle boarding, kayaking, bike riding, watching volleyball, or playing in the sand! Accommodations are very comfortable!

    The location is great. And the place itself is very nice. But we had no water for a couple hours yesterday as they had some issue. When it finally came back on, there was no hot water. We were meeting someone for dinner and had been on the beach. So we had to basically take a cold sponge bath yesterday. Then no shower today. No advance warning from anyone. When they finally responded, it was a simple “Sorry for the inconvenience.” We are going back in September and hopefully, we will have better luck.

    Beautiful condo, fantastic views of the sunset every night, great accommodations. we didn’t need a car for this trip, took the bikes to OB, PB and the board walk. Great proximity to everything. Walked to Trader Joe’s and Sprouts, PB for food. Absolutely lovely trip.

    The unit was well decorated and clean. The location and view are great. Here are the areas for improvement. The lighting in the bedroom was poor; suggest replacing the ceiling fan with one with lights. The unit has no heating. I could not find a thermostat. We used a radient heater from the closet and the fireplace for heat. The patio light is out. The maintenance of the building is substandard and not completely safe. The lights from the beach to the first floor were out. Dryer vents were leaking. .

    The property was found clean, neat and as advertised. The location was phenomenal. A few things to note: be prepped for crowds. The fourth was crazy. The fireworks went well into the night as did the neighbors karaoke. It was fun for us, but it could be overwhelming if you have young children or a sensory processing disorder. The neighborhood was walkable and we had everything we needed for a girls trip.

    Great view over Mission Bay from North side on third floor. Building is a bit shabby but unit is clean, nicely furnished and kept in good shape. Neighbors seem friendly. Parking easy in garage on first level. Overall , good unit with all amenities needed.
