Bayfield- Charming Newly Remodeled Condo, Gateway to Apostles

Beautiful interior and very comfortable. Lockbox would not go back together so had to leave the key and lockbox cover inside when we left. Nice patio area overlooking a wooded area. Exterior was older and had steps to the upper level

Only there one night. Since it was 88 outside another air conditioner in the bedroom would be nice but I understand. Could have had the housekeeping girl turn the air on for us on a day like that???

A quaint, sweet, comfortable spot to come to after a full day of sightseeing and hiking. You can tell owners, Kim and Mark, want you to just have fun and enjoy!

This cute place just south of Bayfield was perfect for a weekend getaway!

Property set in a beautiful, wooded area. A little dated but nicely remodeled and clean. Enjoyed hiking, biking and kayaking in the Bayfield area and Madeline Island.

The room was neat and clean. This is a nice quiet place to stay and just a quick jaunt from Bayfield.

This was a very clean and comfortable place. It was very clean inside. Instead of being right inside of Bayfield, this is a few miles out which eliminates noise. Plus, you have a swimming pool, and a nice bar and restaurant nearby. I will stay there again.

I loved how the condo has been updated and was very comfortable and clean. However, the TV remote didn't work. It didn't ruin our trip or anything but it seems like a fairly simply amenity that should be available. We also didn't care for the chores we had to do- dishes, take out garbage, etc. When we booked the room, we paid an extra resort fee but yet still had to do these tasks.

Just some suggestions to hosts to put hangers for coats in hall closet (winter) and a broom to sweep snow from stairs and balcony if hosts don’t do it. Accommodations were great.

The property is tucked within the dense cover of trees to give a little more feeeling of seclusion though not far off Highway 13 at all.Portside Bar and Restaurant is nearby and Bayfield is less than 3 miles away.Our Condo was clean and spacious enough for the two of us.The kitchen was clean, fully stocked with utensils, cookware, and dishes, and all appliances were clean and working.The owners were friendly and responsive.

Everything was very clean and organized

I should have investigate further on the property before I chose this as not meant for elderly guests. It is located on the 2nd floor, with steep wooden stairs up, no grab bars in the tub area and would have appreciated a mirror and a chair in the bedroom and also a few hangers in the closet. The bed was very comfortable with great linens! We could not find the linens for the futon but they did have extra blankets that worked. It was clean, and good location to search out Bayfield and surrounding areas. Great spot for a younger guests. Nice areas to sit outside and enjoy the weather.

This is a great property but I wish I had a bit more information. First of all, there is washer/dryer on site but you’ll need quarters. I wish I’d known that ahead of time. The property did not have enough towels. Only three bath towels so bring your beach towels and extra towels. I was there 6 nights and it was too long so we washed them. Overall the property was good but there is a definite hornet problem. Two people and our dog got stung. There are the black/white bald faced hornets and the sting was pretty bad. I also wish I knew there was a fire pit. I’d have brought some stuff for that.

It was wonderful!Very clean… had bikes available. Great location!! The owners were easy and wonderful to work with. Was easy to get into. Was quiet and peaceful. Were many nice amenities included. Super! Would definitely stay again!!

Great accommodations.

Stayed 4 nights in late July. Convenient location, close to Bayfield, Washburn, and the Apostle Islands National Seashore. Owners were very responsive to our concerns regarding the lack of a gas grill. The absence of a dishwasher may be a concern if you plan on cooking at the condo.

It was a perfect place for a girls weekend! It’s nice and quiet and just what we needed.

If I could have stayed, I bet it would if been amazing

The place was quite small, but adequate for the stay. The guests there had other people in with three black labradors that barked all the time. That was very annoying.

Cute condo, tidy, had mostly everything. There was dog hair every where.

Nice little unit close to everything Bayfield and the area has to offer. No problems and a quiet area. Perfect for those playing hard in outdoor activities.

As expected. Perfect size for two, kitchen well stocked with utensils, dishes, gadgets. Incredibly clean. Easy parking and easy to get to local attractions by car. Highly recommend. Had an issue (no fault of host) and it was addressed promptly.

The condo is a one bedroom apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, nice counter seating, a very comfortable lving area, and a really comfortable bed with great pillows (for me, a big plus). It's a short walk to a marina and a short ride to Bayfield. Very quiet at night. Good climate control system. All in all highly recommended.

Enjoyed our mini-vacay to Bayfield. Condo was clean, bed was wonderful. Will book here again if available! Thank you! (Had a great hike on the Brownstone trail to Bayfield - wish the access point was labeled better. Had a nice detour among the upper condo units and a friendly dog-walker pointed me in the right direction. A gem of a hike.... if you can find the trail head.... ; ) Condo was very convenient to the Big Top Chataqua event(s) to which we attended. The condo was nicely decorated, too!! Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

We werent able to make it. Husband experienced acute diverticulitis morning we were supposed to leave so it was a weekend lost.

My husband and I stayed here the weekend of our wedding. Unfortunately we had some unpleasant interactions with the on site property manager (not the property owner who is very kind and responsive) and there was an issue with a strong odor in the unit for the duration of our stay. That is likely not the fault of the periphery owner and she did send a friend over to try to figure out what the odor was but it never went away and it out a bit of a damper on the weekend. Kim did refund one night of our stay which was greatly appreciated and I’m certain that the issues will be resolved and the condo will return to being an excellent place to stay.

Very quiet and peaceful. Appreciated access to the pool which was sparkling clear.

The condo was clean and communication with the owner was good. We found plenty to do in the area.
