The location was great as listed, right on a Greenway and close to everything downtown. The apartment was nice enough with a good view from the balcony. Unfortunately it had not been cleaned since the last guests and we had to wait over 2 hours while it was done. Then there wasn't an air mattress for the 3rd bed so another wait. Host response was pretty good, though the app wasn't always good with notifications.

I had to reach out to the lister the night before our arrival to ensure check in information to access the property. I received this information less then 24 hours of check in. Upon our arrival we found many things not disclosed about the property including the toilet seat missing a bolt and a chair at the table that was compromised. My wife was the first one to sit on both and thankfully was not injured. Speaking with one of the hosts and this was “normal wear and tear” on a property. These were many safety concern never the less. I will say he was great at communicating however asked to make several repairs after the toilet and chair were fixed. We then found many small inconsistent issues where the host asked to come back to fix. This again, was great communication however showed lack of privacy to the renter. Many of these things should have been flagged by the cleaning company to the host and when asked the host he was not informed of the status of the property. After returning home and asking for some sort of compensation the host mention how he was more then accommodating and that these issues were “normal wear and tear”on a rental property. For someone who has been in construction and owning rental properties for twenty years I whole heartingly feel that money is more important to these hosts then anything. This property is located on the edge of a high crime area as I was woken up two nights buy police sirens, lights, and someone yelling help me, save me.

Very comfortable beds and pillows—we slept great. However, the rest of the home had several issues that we felt should’ve been disclosed before booking. While most were minor, they added up and affected our comfort. Starting with the laundry room, there were previously washed items (mop head, towels, misc.) left inside the washer/dryer that smelled terrible, as if they had sat wet for days. We rewashed them and set them aside. There was no iron or ironing board, despite being listed in the amenities, which we had planned to use. We tried using the washer/dryer combo to de-wrinkle clothes, but our clothes came out damp. The laundry room floor was also jagged and unfinished, not like the preview photos. The adjoining bathroom toilet had clearly been broken at some point, which was also not shown.Other issues included trash left under the living room coffee table, a fridge with a noticeable smell, and a dead cockroach on the staircase (which I did not touch). Looking up from the stairs, we also saw a moderate roof leak in the ceiling. In the upstairs bathroom, the double sinks and shower were nice, with good water pressure, though the water briefly changed temperature once. Small trash cans throughout the home lacked liners, which we supplied from the closet. In the master bedroom, the lamp by the window was broken and became more damaged when I gently tried to move it. Lastly, the smoke detectors had their battery compartments open, which was concerning.

It was a nice place. It looked like it had been repaired and hadn’t been cleaned up the dust and other particles of whatever they’re doing to the place to upgrade it. It is nice. It is roomie. I did take pictures of the things that were out of place in broken when we got there But overall, it was a nice comfortable place not too far from the action of sixth Street the University lots of great places to eat and explore overall a nice place. The house was really great David he did take a little bit of time to get back to us, but I’m sure he was busy with other Guest but a role thank you.

Had a stagnant smell when we first got here but went away quickly after running the air purifier. Other than that, was great

The property was very nice and well located to downtown and the football stadium. The only negative was poor communication from the host. I didn't receive anything from the host until the night before. After arriving I had questions about the wifi password and the location of a queen air mattress. I never received any reply from the host
