Welcome to Atomic Starburst – your midcentury modern getaway in the heart of Palm Springs! Stylishly decorated with midcentury inspired art and furniture to get you in the Palm Springs vibe. You’ll feel like you’re staying at a top resort with the amazing pool and mountain views from your balcony.

This location can’t be beat! It’s centrally located, walkable to downtown and a 6-minute drive to the airport. The vibrant restaurants, shopping and downtown nightlife are so close, yet once back home you’ll appreciate the peacefulness of the Biarritz condo complex.

The gated community has two tennis courts, two spas and a pool that is heated year-round! Two tennis racquets and tennis balls are provided. Free parking is uncovered on-site, and there are paid laundry rooms available if needed. This unit is on the second floor, which has elevator access.

The kitchen is well appointed with cooking essentials. You’ll find a coffee maker & grinder, toaster, microwave, rice cooker, blender, pots, pans, plenty of dishes and glassware, utensils, tea kettle and electric kettle, Brita water filter, and a bartender set available for your at-home meals.

There are smart TVs in the living room (55”) and bedroom (45”) loaded with all the major streaming apps. Set up and ready for streaming (with ads) are HBO Max, Disney+ with Hulu and ESPN, Peacock Premium, Paramount+ Essential, AMC+ and Vix Premium. Feel free to log into your accounts for the other streaming services.

The bedroom features a queen bed with memory foam mattress, a walk-in closet with dresser drawers and plenty of room to hang all your clothes, white noise machine and a large desk for those moments when you must work while on vacation. Fast 600mbps internet is located at the desk.

For your evenings in, you’ll find a Bluetooth speaker and turntable with a curated selection of midcentury artists like Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Lena Horne, Harry Belafonte, Julie London (and more) to get you in the mood. There is a large selection of games, cards, and a puzzle too!

There is a Ring doorbell for security.

We know you’re on vacation, so we have an easy check-out procedure! No stripping beds or taking out trash like other vacation rentals. We’ll even do the final dishwasher run. Though we ask that you clean as you go and don’t leave a week’s worth of dirty dishes in the sink.

Per the Palm Springs Vacation Rental Ordinance, you must be over 25 years old to book, quiet hours are between 10pm and 10am, and the maximum number guests is limited to 2.

There is no smoking, no parties and no pets.

Note that Palm Springs requires that we charge a Transient Occupancy Tax of 11.5% and Tourism Business Improvement District tax of 1%. For stays 28 days or longer, the tax does not apply.
