Atalaya Towers 106 is a three-bedroom, two-bath condo at this oceanfront complex located 0.5 miles north of the Garden City Pier. This unit features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with granite counters, island workspace, microwave, and dishwasher. Other features include a private oceanfront balcony adjacent to the master bedroom and living area, washer, dryer, and central heat and air conditioning. Four TVs (cable), DVD players, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations includeone king and three double-sized beds. Amenities include an enclosed swimming pool, hot tub, outdoor swimming pool and elevators. Limit two parking passes per unit - one for on-site parking and one for the overflow parking lot. One car-sized trailer or gas powered golf cart is permitted if parked across the street from complex in the overflow parking lot and will be counted as one of the two parking passes. No electric (battery powered) golf carts permitted. No smoking. No pets. Maximum occupancy: 8

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Cafe, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the Seafood Capital of South Carolina and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.

Looking for entertainment and attractions Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. It's a picturesque and exquisitely preserved southern city with antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks.

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. I was also impressed with the Atalaya Staff and amenities. The location felt safe. The indoor pool was very nice for the kids on rainy days. We would definitely stay here again.

Closet full of toys, boogy boards etc. Only complaint, which did impact enjoyment of the trip, is the beds in the second and third bedroom were terrible. Felt like we were sleeping in a hammock. Would be 5 star highly recommended stay with better beds.

Reviewer Comments: This was my third time renting Atalaya 106 and I am sorry to say it was far from perfect. I will start off saying don't expect me to call maintenance with most issues because I am on vacation and will not set and wait wasting a day. 1st we found only 1 tv would change channels we figured that out on the 3rd day next thing we found mold on the inside of the master room shower curtain. The handle to the balcony was very lose an came off my husband tightened it up. The same handle was like this last year. The room with 2 beds had a lamp that you either unplug or unscrew the light bulb. The floors need a deep cleaning, after 1 day our feet was black from walking on them. When you pay over $1500.00 for a week you expect everything to be perfect

Short walk to the beach and a great family atmosphere. I’ll definitely book again in the future. Elevator was being repaired but really didn’t bother us with only one flight of stairs.
