Arlie`s Digs! - One Block To Willard Beach!

Lots of personal touches & amenities. Much larger than expected. Comfortable beds. Wanted to open windows for fresh cool night air but many didn’t have screens. Streaming TV was not conducive to watching regular shows without navigational effort; we weren’t there to watch TV anyway! Great place, wonderful find, great location. Thank you for offering this place!

We were there for Thanksgiving with nearby family so we were not able to take advantage of the proximity to the beach, however the home was great and we look forward to coming again during beach weather! (and the fact that Scratch Bakery is across the street is an added bonus!)The host was very responsive and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

This is a wonderful rental. The Location is excellent just a block away from Willard Beach . Also the house is conveniently across the street from Scratch Bakery. The accommodations are extremely comfortable and spacious. This is a large first story Unit 1 Our hosts thought of everything . The kitchen and bathroom were very comfortable. Our hosts are good communicators with getting back to us right away. We are very grateful to find this rental. We would stay here again easily. Big Thank you to our hosts.

Really enjoyed the unit and it was very convenient for our touring of Portland and up and down the coast.

Cute property very close to Willard Beach and Portland area activities. The gome qas well stocked and very comfortable. We had a small snafu with the access code, but David, the property manager was very responsive and resolved everything right away.

We had a wonderful week here. Fantastic proximity to the beach & a great bakery and ice cream shop. They accommodated us and our dog very well and had everything we need for a great stay.

This property was absolutely lovely and exactly what we hoped for. The condo was much more spacious than we expected and everything that we desired was either provided or readily accessible. Additionally, the location was perfect! Early morning walks were to Spring Point Ledge Light and evening walks to Portland Headlight, with the time in between spent with family in Portland. I highly recommend Arlie’s Digs.

We visited for a few days to decompress, explore the area, and take our new dog for his first getaway. The house was perfect for all 3 of us and we really enjoyed our stay! Everything was spotless and the area was great to walk our dog around. It is close to shops and the beach as well. Overall, it was an excellent stay and we had some great memories - hope to visit again soon!

Cottage is well stocked and very convenient for getting around greater Portland, ME. Great bakery in the area which became a daily part of our routine. Host communicated quickly and were very accommodating.

I have only good things to say about my stay. It was in December, so I can’t speak to the beach experience, but I had a great stay nevertheless. The hosts thought of everything- extra outlet extenders in every room, a huge TV with streaming channels, many thick towels, bathroom products, washer/dryer with detergent provided. King bedroom was very spacious with lots of sunlight. For winter guests, the living room and master bedroom have space heaters disguised as TV screens with an adjustable image of a fireplace. They add a lot of cozy ambiance, as well as nice extra heat. It is fantastic to have Scratch Bakery across the street with great coffee and baked goods. Steve and Ed were outstanding hosts, who answered my questions, and extended extra kindness to me. Highly recommend!

Steve & Ed's attention to detail makes their place exceptional. They have made sure every room in the condo is just right including lovely bath towels, linens, and a kitchen that has all the utensils for a good chef. And, to top it off the beach is just a short walk away. We are looking forward to coming back!

We absolutely loved this property! It was perfect in every way from the layout, to comfortable beds, to fireplaces and ease of wifi access and TVs. We loved the thoughtful binder of information and the dog bowl! It was decorated perfectly and was just so homey and felt like someplace we wanted to settle in and stay awhile. Additionally, we loved the bakery practically across the street and even took baked goods to go upon departure. Couldn’t have been happier with this property and you can see how much thought and heart went in to making this an exceptional place! Thank you!

Great home and hosts in a great neighborhood! Very clean, comfortable beds, sheets, and pillows. Well equipped kitchen, modern bathroom. Nice touches everywhere to make our stay perfect!

Great location, able to walk to the beach. Well stocked home, it had everything we needed and more. Great communication from the hosts.

You have to love the tin ceilings, crown molding, and wide pine floors. The kitchen sink, cupboards, & wainscoting are probably the original. But the apartment is thoroughly modernized with new walls, light switches, ceiling fans, & easy to use thermostat. Loved the thick white bath sheets & of course, that the place was immaculate. The walk to the beach is an easy stroll as are the bakery & ice cream shop up the street. There isn't a thing we would change about the apartment. We'll stay here again for sure.

We really enjoyed this pup-friendly unit. All the creature comforts were included to make it feel like home - nice dishes and cookware, beach gear, lots of seating options in the unit and outdoor space to enjoy the end of summer. Short walk to the beach and food. Would definitely recommend!

Great location near beach and amazing Bakery!! Very well appointed, cute as heck. The owners are fabulous and very responsive!! Everything you could need is there.

We have stayed in many homes and this one is special. The hosts have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable from charging stations, ice makers, beach towels, even sunglasses if we forgot to bring them! The beds are very comfortable and the living room seating is adequate for 4 adults or more. It too is very cozy. The art work is inspiring and we felt at home as soon as we walked in. For Gluten Free guests, don't miss Otto's GF pizza. It blew us away.

Ed & Steve leave no stone unturned! Very accessible to downtown Portland and many popular attractions . Is quite bigger than what is shown in the photographs.

We stayed here as a family of 4 and it was a wonderful location for exploring the South Portland area. It was an easy walk to Willard beach with lots of great shops (delicious bakery, yummy ice cream) just steps away. We only stayed a couple of nights but we easily could have stayed a month! This place had all the amenities with comfortable beds and luxurious towels. We appreciated the beach chairs, beach towels, off street parking, and the washer/dryer. Very clean and well maintained. Beautifully decorated. Definitely recommend!

Super clean, comfortable, very nicely decorated and current, just as advertised. very conveniently located, the owners had anticipated every possible need. I would not hesitate to stay there again. In fact we have shared our wonderful experience with other family members who often come to the area. Truly an A+ experience

Quaint 1st floor apartment, bigger inside than first appeared from outside. Kitchen reminded us of an old farmhouse kitchen with nice restoration work done. Nice sized living room and bedroom. Dining room may be a little small (but not too small) but has a nice table and 4 chairs and is conveniently attached to the kitchen. The House is VERY conveniently located almost right across the street from a busy bagel shop with an ice cream shop across the intersection from there. We found the house location to be a great home base for all the day trips we took. Checkin, checkout, and communication were all smooth as can be. Would book again if we're back in Portland.
