Apartment with the city at your feet and the sea on the horizon by Alidays

There was some obvious water damage and the main bathroom had a very unpleasant smell that sometimes wafted out into the living area.

The best thing about this property was the veranda (balcony), the seaview was incredible, but be prepared for the Meet Bar in Old Town that is loud and you will have to hear most of the night. This apartment sleeps 6, but I would consider it more like 4, 2 adults and 2 small children. The single/twin beds are more for children then larger adults. Even the towels provided are small. If you have any mobility issues this is not the right place. The elevator doesn't work at all. And you have to go down 5 flights of stairs to get to the garage to drag loungera outside for the pool. That also means 5 flights of staira back up to your apartment. Overall the apartment was satisfactory, but I also slept on a couch for 6 nights as I am not a small women. It does pull out but it's not comfortable. The communication with the host was great

This home is beautiful and spacious with an incredible view! Close to local amenities like a grocery store/ coffee shop/ restaurants and a short walk down to the beach/ main strip. The host was really kind and very responsive, we felt so welcome and would absolutely recommend to others

It was a great location and best time to visit Albufeira. We would love to come back again. Maria was great host and the apartment had everything we needed.

The apartment was very cold when we arrived come to find out none of the three heat pumps worked. They brought us space heaters but it was still a very cold first night. Beds were absolutely terrible. Might as well slept on the floor that’s how hard they were. After two nights in those beds we can barely move when we woke up. We had to leave after two nights as our bodies could no longer stand the pain of sleeping on those beds. Mentioned it to host but it was pretty obvious that they weren’t willing to reimburse the rest of the trip or even suggest any solution to our issues. An absolute terrible experience for us.

Loved the view. Had an issue with the sewer line, though, odor coming into apartment.

Maria’s condo is modern and nicely decorated and it was spotless. The unit is very spacious and could have easily fit two couples. The view from the large balcony was gorgeous. Maria was very helpful and easy to deal with. We would definitely rent her condo again. Linda

What a great stay for our family! Ideal location. Clean and well furnished condo. Beautiful views from the balcony. Can easily walk to beach or old town. Other beaches short drive away. Maria was so kind and responsive during our stay. Highly recommend.

This property far exceeded our expectations! It is clean, well located, modern and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The view is absolutely breathtaking! Maria was so responsive and helpful. She went out of her way to help my daughter and I to have the best possible stay in Albuferia. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Can’t wait to be back!

The apartment is exactly as described, but what the photos don’t capture is the stunning view of Old Town, the ocean, the beach, and the sunset—it has to be one of the best in all of Albufeira. It’s about an 8-10 minute walk to the beach or Old Town via the escalator (or electric stairs as they're called in English). If you find the staircase near the pool entrance, it’s just a 6-minute walk, though a bit of a steep climb.We used the washer—which was handy—but note dryers are uncommon in Portugal, so drying clothes takes a bit of patience. That said, it worked out fine. The only minor issue was a strong mildew smell in the primary bathroom, which seems like an easy fix.Everything else was perfect, especially the hospitality and information Maria provided. This is clearly her special place, and she takes pride in welcoming guests—she met us on the first day with the key and tons of helpful tips.Albufeira was buzzing while we were there: lots of energy from the European soccer final and a music festival, mostly with people in their 20s and 30s. We had a blast with our 19- and 21-year-old kids. Thankfully, the apartment is quiet, so you can choose your own pace when it comes to late-night festivities.We only used the pool once—it’s nice, but getting the chairs from a dark, locked garage wasn’t really worth it. We preferred the quick 10-minute walk to the beach.All in all, we absolutely loved this place. You won’t regret booking this apartment!

Our family of 4 loved Maria Teresa's apartment. There was plenty of space and we found everything we needed. The view from the balcony is breathtaking... There is no need for a car as it is walkable distance to shops, restaurants, bars and the town. It's a steep climb back up to the apartment but the view is worth it! We used Uber to travel further afield, which was reasonably priced.Beach and pool stuff is all provided. Albufeira is a fantastic spot. We will be back!

It is as advertised. Clean. Quaint. Gorgeous views. Large balcony. 10 min walk to the beach, restaurants, and night life. The sound from the night life drifts up to the apartment so that is something to consider when booking. It did not keep us awake. Host is easy to contact. Check in and check out process is easy. Good functional space for a family with a toddler, close proximity to escalator to access beach/store, and great view from the balcony.

We had an amazing stay and Maria was a very attentive host - everything was just as the listing shows/describes!

We stayed at this property at the beginning of March, so not the busy season. The host was very responsive and helpful. The arrival instructions seemed confusing when received but were spot on once we got there. The balcony and view were amazing. We had a few issues during our stay but, again, the host was very responsive and did everything she could to fix it immediately. If you plan on having someone use the pull out sofa I would tell her ahead of time so the blinds are there.

This is a great little condo. It is very comfortable and the view from the balcony is stunning! The beds are very firm and the pillows were not the best, but everything else was really great. Host was very amenable and communicative. Definitely recommend!

Property is as described, walk up 2nd story apartment, clean and spacious with Beautiful views of the city and ocean. Host was extremely helpful and responsive, check in was easy and after parking our car in the garage we walked to the beach and restaurants, which were all easily accessible on foot. Our family of 5, had a great time here on our 3 day stay. Thank you Maria Teresa.
